Future of Honor Show Announcement
So one of the three announcements made yesterday was that there was going to be a Future of Honor show happening soon which would feature the young guys on the roster and guys from tryouts. What's everyone think of it and who do you want to see booked for it? Where does everyone think it will be held?
I personally really like this idea. Hopefully it features some of the young talent that people on the board have wanted featured on shows for the past couple of months. Guys like Hollister, Monster Mafia, Amasis, Andrew Everett, Hanson, and Rowe will hopefully all be on there.

All of those guys would be awesome but I think it's more or less a ROH student show.

I hope Trevor Lee, Ethan Page and some young tag teams are booked here.

Tim Donst; BOOK TIM DONST!
But yeah, hope it's a mesh between students from the school and unsigned indy guys. Monster Mafia back would be cool, Amasis, Bill Daly actually wrestling, the Top Prospect Tournament guys, then you have Adam Page, Cedric Alexander, maybe RD Evans can defend The New Streak against a young up and comer; but yeah, hope some top indie names are featured. Tag teams would be a hoot.

Sounds like the old Pro Wrestling Respect shows. A show to mainly feature students/tryout guys with maybe a few main roster guys sprinkled in.

Yeah, I'm sure we will see Party Boyz on this show too. Probably RD Evans and Romantic Touch too.
Re: Future of Honor Show Announcement
I wouldn't mind seeing the #PartyBoys again but I think Mike Sydal is still in Japan for Dragon GateMr. Orange wrote:Yeah, I'm sure we will see Party Boyz on this show too. Probably RD Evans and Romantic Touch too.

Every time Monster Mafia is mentioned he makes some sort of comment about them, Biff Busick, and Shane Hollister. So, probably sarcasm.

JSP doesn't like that we want indie guys who had a great 2013 in every promotion they wrestled in on the card despite the fact them featuring is realistic. Yeah, I'm stumped.

No love for JT Dunn? I would love to see him in ROH.
Re: Future of Honor Show Announcement
Not a bad idea at all. I'll be offended though if they charge the same price for VOD/DVD that they usually do.

Since ROH is bringing in a lot of older era guys (Hero, Styles, London, etc.) the should bring in Bobby Dempsey as the special attraction on this show.

Didn't Jim Cornette say in his dozens of shoots recently that he had the idea of having a developmental league for future ROH stars. You think Joe Koff listened to the interviews and came up with this idea about future stars?

Well I'm sure Delirious has a lot of input with this show happening as well...
Re: Future of Honor Show Announcement
That idea existed before SBG bought the company in the form of Pro Wrestling Respect which was ran by Delirious before he became booker.ROHFanAnthony wrote:Didn't Jim Cornette say in his dozens of shoots recently that he had the idea of having a developmental league for future ROH stars. It would be cool if this show was offered as free to the ringside members.
