For years, Chris Hero was one of the top athletes in Ring of Honor. As a former ROH World Tag Team Champion, Hero knows the prestige of holding Ring of Honor gold. But even as he traveled the globe and took on bigger and bigger challenges, a singles championship in ROH was the one accomplishment that always eluded him.

From the moment Chris Hero returned to ROH at Final Battle 2013, he's had his eyes and elbow locked on Adam Cole - and Adam Cole's World Title. On January 25th at "Wrestling's Finest," Hero had the opportunity to earn the World Title match he wants. Hero teamed with "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin and won a Three Way Tag Team match by pinning Adam Cole. Unfortunately for Hero, the championship wasn't on the line in that match...but it will be at the 12th Anniversary! In Philadelphia on February 21st, Adam Cole defends the Ring of Honor World Championship against Chris Hero.



According to Adam Cole and his mentor Matt Hardy, the title shot stipulation is another "plot" orchestrated by Ring of Honor to destroy the champion. Regardless of their claims, Chris Hero pinned Adam Cole - and beating the champion earns you a world title opportunity. What remains to be seen is how Matt Hardy intends to "guide" his champion through retaining the title. Matt Hardy has challenged "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin! Elgin will never lose focus on the ROH World Title - he believes he's the rightful champion and has pinned Adam Cole to prove it. What better way to send a message to Cole than defeating his mentor? Will Elgin accept?

This is like last year except neither heel will be coming to ring with "Dirty Angel" which makes me sad..

I'd like to see Styles vs Jacobs here.

Or Styles/Shelley vs Jacobs/Whitmer. Don't get me wrong, there is no rumor of Shelley showing up, but, it would be cool. Give Styles a mystery partner. It's 12th Anniversary..they usually always have some sort of return. 10th was Homicide. 11th was rumored to be Low Ki, and they swerved us with RD Evans (that was insane heat),...can we get Shelley to return to stick it to someone who has been a thorn in his side his entire career? Feeds into the Decade angle..

I really like the poster.
I'm interesting with Ciampa vs Hanson. I know that Tommasso will keep the title but I hope this match will be good for Hanson. For me it's great that he won the tournament and now I hope we're all gonna see on 12th Anniversary that it was a good decision.

I think it'd benefit them more to get TNA fans to watch one of their biggest shows on the year. It seems like they agree.
