That's in Harrisburg....actually pretty close to me187_Joeism wrote:AJ Styles vs AR Fox booked for UWE
Also interesting to note....out of all the dates AJ has been booked for thus far (and their have been several announced), I don't think any of them conflict with the ROH shows scheduled in the first few months of 2014. A good sign...

Re: AJ Styles backstage at final battle?
Two more big matches:
AJ Styles vs. Cedric Alexander in PWX on January 19th, 2014
AJ Styles & Amazing Red vs. The Young Bucks in House of Glory on February 15th
Fantastic Matches, and again, they don't conflict with any ROH dates. Things are looking up.

Styles working a tag match involving the Bucks? Potentially shaft-hardening.

Re: AJ Styles backstage at final battle?
I don´t think those rumors of him being expensive were true because EVERYONE is booking Styles.
Re: AJ Styles backstage at final battle?
He was probably expensive for TNA because he wanted out.

Possible. Then again, I imagine independents are willing to spend the money on a one-time AJ appearance at the time when he'll have the most hook.Marketh. wrote:He was probably expensive for TNA because he wanted out.
I am cosmetically pleasing.
Re: AJ Styles backstage at final battle?
There's a difference between dropping a lot of money for a guy to come to your promo once, and paying him over and over again to appear. These are all different promotions he's appearing for, not the same one. Think of it like you going on a weekend trip to a card or something. You got enough money for gas, tolls, ticket, hotel once or twice wihtout it being a hit to the wallet. Doing it every other weekend, your bills start to pile up.187_Joeism wrote:I don´t think those rumors of him being expensive were true because EVERYONE is booking Styles.

Some reports going around that AJ's statement was planned and that TNA is picking his bookings in-order to advance the storyline.

This is correct. Also, keep an eye on his opponents in those matches. Many of them have been hand-picked by TNA.The Dragon Saga wrote:Some reports going around that AJ's statement was planned and that TNA is picking his bookings in-order to advance the storyline.

Yeah I'm sure TNA hand-picked Christian Rose as AJ's opponent for DreamwaveSmile wrote:This is correct. Also, keep an eye on his opponents in those matches. According to wrestlezone Styles has re-signed with TNA. Take it for what it's worth.

Re: AJ Styles backstage at final battle?
I was told by a local promoter that he's asking for 3000 a show, which is pretty damn expensive for a smaller company. I can't imagine it's a financially wise decision for some of these companies, but I've never run a company so who am I to judge.187_Joeism wrote:I don´t think those rumors of him being expensive were true because EVERYONE is booking Styles.

I tend not to listen to Wrestlezone and take anything they do report with extreme skepticism. If more credible and reliable sources begin to say this (The Observer, PWInsider, etc...), then it's probably true.astoph wrote:According to wrestlezone Styles has re-signed with TNA. Re: AJ Styles backstage at final battle?
I believe Meltzer also reported it in one of his radio shows. Seems like just a rumor as of now though, doesn't confirm anything.DXvsNWO1994 wrote:I tend not to listen to Wrestlezone and take anything they do report with extreme skepticism.
