Why haven't they made a serious go at getting Aries to come in?

Also I'd like to see Marco Corleone (Mark Jindrak) come in to ROH for a one shot or something. He'd dwarf most the roster I get that but have him face Punishment Martinez or Shane Taylor. IDK they have that CMLL relationship, why not use it.

If we're making a wishlist of CMLL talent to bring in, the first five spots on the list need to be occupied with "Rush"

Yeah. This has had me quite confused. You'd think that Aries would have shown up in ROH or TNA or WWN or New Japan or somewhere by now, but he hasn't.

I'll add Negro Casas. When he's healthy, have him wrestle Daniels in a legends match. Add Liger to make it a three-way.

Any good Brit legends in RevPro to make it a FFW?

I think Aries has heat with ROH. Remember, Aries did nothing for six months between his TNA departure and NXT debut and only made one ROH appearance during that time, as a last minute fill-in for a random six man tag on a throwaway house show. I don't see him coming back.

As for the others... TNA probably can't afford him. He might be burnt out though and taking some time off. If nothing else, you would think he'd work for Gabe if he was interested in working.

I figured that was just him not wanting to annoy WWE by working for ROH.

He has been working for House of Hardcore in the states and Defiant in the UK. Last I saw he is the Defiant champion. Maybe that's all he wants to commit to right now.

I have a good indication on the 4 cities for the May War of the Worlds tour.

Dates will be:5/9, 5/11, 5/12 and 5/13

2 new cities for that general tour (new to the tour, not ROH) and 1 new venue in a returning city.

I imagine official word to come out in the next 2 weeks.

Dream matches and huge championship bouts are guaranteed when Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro-Wrestling join forces for the fifth annual War of the Worlds Tour this May.

The four-show tour kicks off in Lowell, Mass., at Lowell Memorial Auditorium on May 9, and then heads to Toronto, Ontario, at Ted Reeve Arena on May 11; Royal Oak, Mich., at Royal Oak Music Theatre on May 12; and Chicago at The Odeum on May 13.

Tickets for these events go on sale Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m. Eastern for Ringside Members and Friday, Jan. 19 at 10 a.m. Eastern for the general public. Tickets will go fast, so set your calendars and don’t miss your opportunity to see the stars of ROH and NJPW do battle!

Previous War of the Worlds events have seen NJPW stars such as IWGP Champion Kazhuchika Okada, Kenny Omega, Tetsuya Naito, Shinsuke Nakamura, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Jushin “Thunder” Liger and others square off with the top stars in ROH. Matchmakers from both organizations have already begun to craft cards for this year’s tour. ROHWrestling.com will be updated with the matches as they are signed.

Every ROH live event is truly a unique experience. Don’t miss your opportunity to see the Best Wrestling on the Planet live!

The best way to guarantee you are at War of the Worlds live is to become an ROH Ringside Member. Tickets for ROH and NJPW’s War of the Worlds Tour and other events across the globe go on sale for Ringside Members days before they are made available to the general public. Ringside Members also get discounts in the ROH Pro Shop and more.

I'm holding onto a sliver of hope that they can somehow get Jericho in for War of the Worlds. If they can get Jericho in for the War of the Worlds and Global Wars tour I will be happy.

I feel like Jericho might be "too rich" for ROH. I could totally be wrong on that. I think the idea for sure with the WoTW tours is that it is the novelty (if it is still considered that) to see the primary NJPW talents.

In my way too early hopes, I would to see Okada again since he was absent from last year's tour. If we could also somehow get Omega too, that would be incredible!

I hope Thomas' source for this WOTW news keeps giving him hints as to more upcoming shows.

So this is really weird.

"Honor Reigns Supreme" is now happening in Concord, and the TV tapings are now happening in Atlanta for "Saturday Night at Center Stage."

Days are staying the same, just name and card reversals. Details here:

Well, that sort of sucks for those of us headed to Concord; but oh well, it'll still be entertaining.
