Good. I like it when Final Battle is later in the month. It's kind of silly to have "Final Battle" and then have a bunch of TV airing after it.

The next big question is, where will Final Battle be held? With the likes of Omega and Rhodes to lead promotion for the event among possibly others like The Bucks, maybe ROH will throw caution against the wind and book a 10,000 seater arena. If Omega's coming in, it would be a better time than ever.
I would like to see them do this as well. NYC seems like the most logical place for it.
NYC is an interesting place as you don't have much in Manhattan in terms of 10k venues. The Theater at MSG holds about 6k for wrestling and would be the most likely venue if they grow out of Hammerstein. The Theater has hosted WCW and AAA in the 1990's (terrible sight lines in the back of the Theater). I don't know if St. John's rents the basketball venue (in Queens) but that holds 5,600 for games. Barclays is smaller than MSG (proper) but is still huge and WWE wouldn't want them there. Nassau Coliseum hosts about 13K these days but no one not on the South shore of Long Island wants to run out there. Realistically, Hammerstein is probably the best spot for them.
I feel like, thought it's obviously not as pretty as the Hammerstein, they should try for one of the many schools' gyms in NYC (provided they can't get St. John's.). Mercy College's Draddy Gymnasium seats a little less than 2,500 for basketball, so probably over 3,000 for wrestling. That wouldn't be bad if they could pull that, even though it's in the Bronx.

It all depends on how close it is to the subway. As someone who came in from NJ and thus had to catch a bus home from Port Authority at a certain time, that was one of the worst things about Terminal 5.

I like the ambition here. A one-night tournament is an easy sell to someone without much investment in the product.

Agreed. Like monster mafia said it's a bigger building and I hope that it fills up. After the Lowell tapings where it looked embarrassingly sparse, I do applaud ROH showing some balls and not going conservative with the buildings they have been booking in the aftermath of that.

So does this replace SOTF perhaps? I hope so.

Huh, looks pretty cool.

Notice only one Young Buck's been announced.

But pretty cool. And looking at pictures, I'd wager to bet the ring will be on the floor, so that clears up a lot of room there.

‘Soaring Eagle’ rang off as an odd Ring of Honor name. Then I realized it was named after the casino—which was pretty deflating. This could even be a multi-year negotiation like Sam’s Town, of course all depending on this event's success.

I think this is the venue. Non-tiered and open floor. It looks very nice.

Hopefully they'll do the same thing this year. They'll probably wait until after the upcoming Philly show though.

I think they should have taken a risk and booked a larger arena but the Hammerstein is the Hammerstein. Its sort of become synonymous with ROH at this point.

How long has it been since ROH has ran New Jersey? Maybe they could do a TV taping in Jersey the day after Final Battle.
