Shouldn't they wrap up Briscoes/GoD at Summer Supercard? I have been enjoying it so far, but they really shouldn't drag it out.

With RUSH/Lee winning then it goes to the Kingdom vs Lee/RUSH title match Taven costs them the tag titles and thus the fued is born leading to Final Battle.
I really don't want the Kingdom as tag team champs. I'd prefer if instead they jumped Rush at Summer Supercard and Dalton joined the Kingdom.
Is this where Gresham gets his title shot, which I believe he earned in Philly?
That 4-way was for a title shot? Didn't it air before MM? If so would King have had two titles shots if he had won?

I'm sure the feud is ending at Summer Supercard.

Yeah I should be ending here, and It's the right thing to do, I think even having a handshake moment after it might be a good idea, it depends how long (if it ever stops) you want the feud to be in the background for.

Yeah maybe, I think just attacking someone after the bell works like with GOD but the sneaky side of things, causing people too loose is more in the Kingdom style.

Yeah it was the 4 way and yep I imagine so, but that's why it was sensible to have someone else win.

That has to be pretty close to Marty's last date, I'd run Taven versus Marty (I mean, if it was actually me, I'd run Taven versus Rush and do the title change, but I don't see that happening).

The biggest stars in CMLL are headed to Ring or Honor to do battle with ROH’s top stars in Global Wars Espectacular, a three-city tour in September.

Global Wars has been a staple event in ROH since 2012, but the 2019 version marks the first time the sensational luchadors from CMLL, the top promotion in Mexico, will be involved.

Global Wars Espectacular kicks off on Sept. 6 at the Ford Community Center in Dearborn, Mich., then heads to the Odeum Expo in Chicago on Sept. 7 and concludes at the Potawatomi Casino in Milwaukee on Sept 8.

The following CMLL stars have been signed for the tour:

-- Caristico (Sept. 7-8 only)
-- Volador Jr.
-- Stuka Jr.
-- Triton
-- Barbaro Cavernario
-- Hechicero
-- Rey Bucanero
-- Okumura

An official partnership between ROH and CMLL was forged three years ago and has never been stronger. Join us live in person or streaming for HonorClub to experience the historic Global Wars Espectacular!

Interesting that a tour already on sale was re-branded with Global Wars/ CMLL. This is a pivotal tour for ROH. Can it bring value to a partner through its U.S. contacts and can it draw? This tour had already been announced with poor sales so lets see if it spikes. If it can have a feel that appeals to a niche, there could be something.

Best decision they’ve made is that none of the dates are going to be a TV taping.

The worst decision is that this tour is just before a PPV so they will either blend matches to fit into the PPV as well as the tour or they will have nothing to with the story PPV which is a complete waste in my opinion considering they have just started to form a TV product worth watching.

There really needs to be less of these tours else ROH is never going to find its footing again.

Because story lines either loose focus or become disjointed because of a break, this will be a second PPV in a row that probably won’t deliver this time for a lack of build ROH can’t afford this time to be used up.

I have no problem with one tour a year either New Japan or CMLL especially if it isn’t going to tie into story lines. ROH doesn’t run enough shows to do these breaks. They take up far too much time.

Now if this tour is to introduce guys that are going to be featured strongly in the future so it means something I’ve got no problem but if it doesn’t that’s a huge issue.

ROH needs to rebuild its name and what it shows as an individual entity not another conduit for someone else.

Big fan of Triton being there he’s impressed me a lot the couple of CMLL shows I’ve seen him on.

Shame there isn’t any Titan though but he’s really starting to get over in CMLL.

Dragon Lee is apparently booked elsewhere during this tour. Contrary to earlier reports, he is not signed to ROH (according to @luchablog on twitter who is pretty reputable with his info)

Am I the only one who still sees this triple-shot, which includes Chicago and Milwaukee, to be a dipshit idea the week AFTER All Out? Swallow your pride and piggyback on Labor Day weekend.

Seems like the Texas loop would be the better bet to brand as a CMLL Global Wars.

I don't really understand why those shows were announced first as regular RoH shows and now are re-branded into RoH/CMLL shows.

NJPW are feeling good enough in the USA that they don't feel like they need to do joint shows any longer so now RoH will start doing them with CMLL. Funny thing, in a sad way, would be if 2 years later CMLL starts doing their own shows in USA and RoH is again in this odd place where they don't have any draws.

That being said, I feel like RoH/CMLL partnership can be better for RoH since they got some stuff that they can build around - Rush, Dragon Lee, Taven and maybe King will also do something meaningful on his excursion. Plus wrestlers moving from Mexico to USA sounds easier to manage than from Japan to USA so it should be easier to build actual stories instead of doing couple of "dream matches" a year.

I really like Evil and Sanada, but their last appearance was perfect example of RoH/NJPW joint shows problem - they won their matches (even against RoH regulars) and left. Long term nothing was gained from their appearance.

Volador Jr. is on these shows, Taven is also on these shows. Do a title match, it makes sense and works. They got more of a connection than anyone has with NJPW guys.

Yeah and CMLL fans are really starting to really notice, I would hope he could have been on these shows in the future because he really is a top talent now.

CMLL is very much like ROH in someways in that they are full of cheap talent and especially in CMLL's case it's very old in all aspects or just flat out terrible from someone like Flyer or Atlantis Jnr If CMLL it wants to move in the American market it's going to need a similar aproach to AAA when it comes to talent. AAA are doing things way ahead of where they actually are. Mexico is a strange place when it comes to wrestling.

I would certainly think Valdor vs Taven is a given, everyone else is wierd mix of Rudo's and Techinco's

They want to reastablish themselves in those markets, especially with the likes of MLW and AAW moving in both, it's a sensible move by ROH and the best thing they can do now is not worry about what they draw but just create a healthy footprint in them.
