Why talents were pulled off and why?
Re: ROH Talents pulled off of FWE iPPV
From FWE's Facebook
Got some shitty news for everyone. Ring of Honor has decided their talent can no longer appear on our iPPV's. This means that ROH has pulled Mike Bennett, ROH pulled the surprise return of Matt Taven and for the second show in a row ROH has pulled Jay Lethal. Replacements will be named shortly and we apologize for the misunderstanding.

Wow, this is stupid. It isn't really even competition, since ROH doesn't even put on ippv's anymore.
Seeing ROH wrestlers on non ROH shows often makes me much more interested in watching them in ROH.

sucks for the talent involved since they lose the payday unless they appear in dark matches(which I doubt will happen).
stinks for the fans as well.

For those who don't know, FWE is apart of WWN Live (Gabe). Hence why ROH doesn't want their talents affiliated with anything involving WWN Live.

ROH has this thing called TV that's why
Re: ROH Talents pulled off of FWE iPPV
It seems a bit drastic to me. Who exactly benefits from this? Not the wrestlers. Not the fans. I fail to see how ROH benefit from it.
It's just another reason why indie wrestlers should never sign exclusive deals going forward. The Young Bucks have the right idea. A guy like Jay Lethal doesn't need ROH to make money.

That makes sense thenthecanadiandragon wrote:For those who don't know, FWE is apart of WWN Live (Gabe). Hence why ROH doesn't want their talents affiliated with anything involving WWN Live.
People seem to be assuming it's just a random indy IPPV
If it has anything to do with Gabe then it makes sense why they were pulled off.
Re: ROH Talents pulled off of FWE iPPV
Being a WWN associated promotion, I see why they did it. I agree with Smile on the contracts.

Is this kind of WWE protect their stars?

Steen said it in one of his shoots, ROH pays a lot more than any of this indies, they can decide stuff like this, specially if is something WWN related.

I didn't know this. That makes more sense. Mainly, I want to keep seeing ROH wrestlers being able to wrestle in other indy promotions. Because more wrestling is better and it gives more fresh and unique match-ups.thecanadiandragon wrote:For those who don't know, FWE is apart of WWN Live (Gabe).
