Alright ROH, you have me lured in for this show, I am a poor college student who spends what he can on wrestling shows, this free show deal is really awesome and all, hook me in on the product completely now!

the release states it will only be broadcast live and not be available for later playback. im assuming that's only through GFL though, but who knows

This is awesome! I was really not looking forward to avoiding spoilers, and really wishing I could watch live. Now we can, and it's free! And if the quality sucks, I don't care that much, because it's free!

And hopefully, if it works, ROH can move towards more live shows in the future.

If it is, that's not something that should just be left to assumption. That's a very important detail.

You would hope so. But if ROH isn't broadcasting it, then I guess it's possible that they wouldn't be able to get it out on vod in a timely manner. In which case, they would just stick with dvd release.
It's all speculation until there's any official clarification.

I'll be honest, I've never ordered an iPPV (not big on watching movies/shows from my Mac & I'm not technically sound as to what cord I need to connect to my TV) but I want to give this a shot. I've never used GFL, but I did their connection test & it seemed ok. I signed up & I guess I'm good to go. Is it as simple as click on the ROH poster & watch the show?

Just signed into my GFL account for the first time since ROH used them for IPPV's well over a year ago. I pray this works so we can get our ROH IPPV's once again moving forward.

If the feed's good though, I'm sure ROH will try to work something out with GFL. They probably will try to keep the shows on their (ROH's) site. If GFL can do that, then tremendous.
