Some ROH statistics and facts

Hello.
Here I have some statistics and facts considering Ring of Honor events. I'm creating a new topic, because I hope I will provide some more statistics and facts in the future.
Let's begin.
Our today topic is ROH FINAL BATTLE.
As you know, so far we had 20 Final Battle events.
ROH World Championship title:
There were 19 ROH World Championship matches (no match in 2007 because of Nigel's injury). Out of them, 13 times ROH World Championship Match was a main event. But what if we divide these 20 years in two halfs?
1st half (2002-2011) - 4 times ROH World title match was a main event. Of course in 2007 there was no chance for it anyway, so just keep in mind this little detail
2nd half (2012-2021) - 9 times ROH World title match was a main event. The only time it was not a main event - 2018, when it was Ladder War between The Briscoes, Daniels & Kazarian and The Young Bucks.
Is Final Battle a place where new ROH World Champion is often crowned? Not really.
No match in 2007 and no champion defending the title in 2021 (Bandido with Covid-19). So we have 18 matches with champion vs challenger.
12 times the champion won, 5 times the challenger won the title, 1 time we had a draw (in 2009 between Aries and Black). However, in the last 6 years we had 3 new ROH World Champions crowned at Final Battle (and I do not include 2021 where there was no champion defending the title). This situation is a little different than in the past. When in 2006 Homicide won the title, the next Final Battle with the challenger winning the belt was.... 10 years later - Kyle O'Reilly in 2016.
ROH World Tag Team Championship title:
No match in 2004, 2006 and 2010. So we have 17 ROH World Tag Team Championship matches.
8 times the champions defended successfully the titles, 9 times we had new champions. Neither the champions, nor the challengers have had more than two years in a row for either side to win.
Out of these 17 matches, in 9 of them the Briscoes were included. 6 times they won, 3 times they lost. 5 times they became the new champions, 2 times they dropped the titles. We can also add that Mark Briscoe has +1 match, because in 2020 his partner was PCO.
ROH TV Championship title:
The title was created in 2010, but in 2011 it was defended for the first time at Final Battle. No TV title match in 2012. So overall we have 10 matches.
6 times the champion won, 4 times we had a new champion crowned.
In the last 6 years it was alternately - one time the champion won, next time the challenger won, and so on.....; had Bobby Fish managed to take the ROH TV title from Roderick Strong in 2015, we would have had that "you-me-you-me" order from the very beginning of the title defenses at this event, and it would have been a perfect 5-5.
So, theoretically at Final Battle 2022 Samoa Joe should successfully defend the title.
Other titles have a short history, so let me just show the numbers:
ROH Pure Championship title:
2004, 2005, 2020, 2021.
4-0 for the champion.
ROH six-man Tag Team Championship title:
2016, 2017, 2021.
1-1. I do not count 2016, since The Kingdom were the inaugural champions.
ROH Women's Championship title:
2021.
1-0 for the champion.
* In all Final Battle matches we had 209 male and female wrestlers.
* As for the number of matches, naturally the Briscoes are on the top - Jay had 18 Final Battle matches, Mark had 17. 3rd place goes to Jay Lethal with 14 matches. There are two more wrestlers with 10 or more matches: Roderick Strong (12) and Rhett Titus (11).
* Who's got the biggest undefeated streak at Final Battle? That's..... CM Punk. 4-0. What's more interesting, his last FB match was in 2004 (in 2003 he was in both convention card and main show). Silas Young was in the lead with 5-0, but last year he lost at ROH TV Championship Fatal Four Way Match and what's more, he was the one who got pinned; so now he's 5-1.
* In total, most wins have two wrestler - Jay Briscoe and Jay Lethal. They both won 11 times. 3rd place for Mark Briscoe with 10 wins. They are the only ones with 10 on more wins and it's not gonna change very fast, because next in line is current WWE wrestler Roderick Strong with 7 wins.
* Who's got the biggest being defeated streak at Final Battle? That's..... Chris Hero. 0-6. 2nd place goes to Delirious with 0-5. However, Delirious lost all of them in team matches, while Hero in team matches lost only twice.
* The person with the most losses in total is Christopher Daniels. He won his first match in 2002, but then he lost next 8 matches; so he's 1-8. 4 of his losses were 1 vs 1 matches. 2nd and 3rd place goes to The Briscoes - 7 losses.
And now some facts:
* Did you know that at Final Battle 2002 Mickie James was in the ring? As Alexis Laree she lost and it took....41 seconds.
* Final Battle looks bad for Dalton Castle recently. He lost his last 4 matches at that event. He's currently 2-5.
* Similar problem had Rhett Titus. He lost all his first 5 matches. But later on he got it better and in his next 6 matches he lost only once. So he's 5-6 currently.
* Who's currently on a good streak? That's Jonathan Gresham - he won his last 4 matches at Final Battle. But it's doubtfully that he'll continue his streak in the near future, so let's see who's next in line. That's Dragon Lee with 3 Final Battle consecutive wins.
* Mark and Jay Briscoe currently have the longest Final Battle appearance streak. Since 2006 they didn't miss any Final Battle event. Next in line is Jay Lethal - since 2011.
* Current ROH World Championship #1 Contender's Claudio Castagnoli last time at Final Battle was in 2010. His current streak is 2-4. Even higher break from Final Battle has current ROH TV champion Samoa Joe - his last Final Battle match was in 2005. His current streak is 1 win, 2 losses and 1 draw.
There we go. I hope you like it
Have a nice Final Battle event this saturday.
