I wouldn't be mad with something like Brody King vs. Dragon Lee.... as Brody has had heat with LFI; and it would be an awesome match.

I originally wanted this match up for the ROH TV title, but I believe Brody King will end up on someone else's television next year. Regardless of title still would like to see this.

Yep, Punk's already said he'd like him in AEW. Match would be great though.

Is Deppen still affiliated with the company? Would like to see him in an ROH ring one more time.

eck files.

Speaking of Final Battle: End of an Era, my backstage sources are telling me to “expect the unexpected.”

It’s certain to be an emotional and historic event that no one who has ever been an ROH fan should miss.

Imagine waiting until the final show to use Red. Just when you think they can't get even more dense.

So no TV title match?

Watched Week by week and they said that TV title match will be announced at later date. Looking at upcoming matches maybe it is Dalton/Flip?

Not really excited except for the main event. They had a chance to make this a bit more special and I think they whiffed it, but I think the news also broke suddenly over the hiatus so their hands were tied. If it had been known earlier, they probably could have worked out some more.

They really should have made a push to keep all contracted talents at least for Final Battle to make it a huge show, but I understand and even appreciate the sentiment of letting guys do what they want to immediately as opposed to having them in limbo for two months.
I've got over 400 ROH DVDs for sale from 2002 to 2018! Let me know if you are looking for any! Can ship anywhere in the world.

Less than a week away. Sounds like they are announcing the TV Title match at Final Battle today on week by week.

Still no Dragon Lee, EC3, Flip Gordon, PJ Black, Dax Draper Flamita , PCO , Rey Horus, Silas Young, Bouncers, Wold Famous CB. Maybe they go in the 10 man and one faces Dalton for the TV title.

Too many matches. Again.

Nothing will get enough time. Again.

Same old story sadly. It’s so frustrating.

(That said - I’m happy to see Joe Hendry. The pandemic came at a horrible time for he and Mark Haskins in particular. Haskins was getting a crack at the main event scene and Hendry’s gimmick had just started getting some traction with ROH’s crowd)

Can't disagree. Thinking the same. Concerned that matches are going to overrun & jeopardize the main event.
Similar to Taven vs. Jeff Cobb title match.

Most likely it won't happen, but considering amount of matches I think it would make sense if Woods just squashed Johnson.

Yeah, 10 matches on a 3 hour show is too many. Even if 1 of those ends up on the Hour 1 pre-show, It will still be rushed. Honor for All was 6 matches in a 2 hour time slot, and none of those hit the 15 minute mark. Granted, you can do more than 60% of a show as bell-to-bell time, but any way you slice it, one of ROHs problems is that they overload the shows and don't allow for longer matches.

So it looks like the hour free will have around 4 matches, I’m guessing Horus vs Lee will only there too.

So that leaves, TV Title match, Pure Title match, Fight without Honor, Tag title match, Womens title match and World Title. Overall you could probably add one more match onto the main card and still be fine but overall that feels about right.
