Nobody outside wwe can compete with big name matches so don't understand why that post was even made
Just funny to see people talking about NXT scraps, like it’s a big deal. I have never even heard of these guys.

He dislikes stuff because of his personal relationships. I dislike stuff because it’s lame, doesn’t make sense, or is boring. Don’t get it twisted.

its funny because if roh was to do murphy vs Braun he would have laughed saying why did those two go there when they could have gone to aew for more money and exposure

I do not watch any WWE programming, never said otherwise, but I know who a lot of the top “guys” are. I will watch their match this weekend and see how they do, but this match is not a big deal and nobody will take notice. If you want people to watch ROH, you need to make some headlines. Having 2 no name girls in your championship match and 2 NXT castoffs, isn’t it.

Impact wrestling gets like 100,000 viewers on their tv shows, but they have better signings and have “buzz”. ROH “allegedly” gets 3 to 5 times the audience, but get no buzz worthy signings. This company is probably worse off than we think.

If it helps, Jake Atlas was becoming a real hot name on the independents before signing with WWE. He has worked GCW and PWG prior to signing. Rust has been around a lot longer than Atlas has (I think Atlas is still in his early/mid 20's) and started to make a name for himself on New Japan Strong. Both guys have a ton of talent. It should be a good match. It's not a match that will draw mainstream eyeballs but it will grab the attention of the hardcores. Those are the people who used to be ROH's main fanbase and this will help grab their attention for this show.

I like the Jake Atlas pick up; but I'm not as excited for Taylor Rust. Think i would have preferred guys like Zayne, Fish, Murphy, Stallalion, Green, etc .... but Rust is a solid worker. I just don't think he brings a lot of value/eyeballs. Should be a solid match though. Hopefully a few more surprises in the Honor Rumble.

I'm fine with ROK -C and Alize; and glad they got deals. I think no matter who wins/losses; ROH needs to follow up with the division and run some storylines.

I feel like Josh Woods and Gresham should just main event Death Before Dishonor. Now seems like the ideal time; to put a Pure Title match on the big stage.

He also had a tag match on Week by Week. Shame on you. Atlas has also worked for ROH. Next you'll say you have no idea who Bobby Fish is.

These are the types of signings ROH should have been making years ago but if they are doing it now it’s better late than never. ROH does need star power no question but these at add great depth and quality all round. If ROH were ever to head to Cali they would I imagine draw very well considering the names on the roster and how they are linked to that area.

There aren’t many names that are really going to add what’s needed right now that are even available to ROH considering AEW, Cole would have been perfect overall. If that level can’t happen the next best step is too build a strong well rounded roster that delivers strong in certain areas of wrestling. These two very much help with that, just like Deppen, Dickenson, Homicide etc, if ROH adds all these names and hopefully a few more you have a strong enough roster to carry a multi hour TV show or multiple programs that can carry the roster size. I am almost close to feeling that ROH could be very hot in a few moths which I haven’t felt for a while.

I think those other guys are coming in (Zayne,Fish,Stallion,Greene). Some Sunday, others at TV Tapings. Zayne has win over Bandido so i would hot shot him to world title match on TV in Nov. Let him beat someone in Top 5 & then feed him to Bandido.

At some level, it's a Smart move to advertise a match between 2 former nxt wrestlers. It's leveraging the attention being created to the transition of management/production in nxt. It may not be significant in itself, but the algorithms will bring attention to the newsfeed of prowrestling audiences...
It's not easy being the Greatest 7th generation wrestler Of All Time!

If it helps, he was Russ Taylor at the time. And yes, he's a great worker. I love his old-school arm work.

349 sold at this moment, 43 left

They're definitely going to need to release more for the walk ups tomorrow.
