Is ROH actually ON TV?
After looking to see if ROH aired in Philadelphia, I decided to look at other cities. I then got the Top Media Markets and looked at the Top 25 and added 26 because it was Baltimore. ROH doesn't air on over the air TV in the Top 6 markets and they only air in 7 of 26 (26.9%). Out of those 7 markets, only 2 showings are during "normal hours". Apparently, you cannot watch ROH over the air, in the entire states of Massachusetts and Arizona, and there are probably more states where this is the case. All info was taken from ROH's website. How can ROH state they're getting up to 500,000 weekly viewers when it's not even airing in most cities?

I've been complaining about the TV listings on the website for years, welcome to the club.
They're also on a few other random channels like Cox Sports and NESN

Re: Is ROH actually ON TV?
For Detroit ; ROH used to be on a local channel late at night, now they are on the Bally Sports Network; late at night.
I imagine a handful of these have other networks at air it.
Also, the other issue is ROH doesn't even update their TV listing on their website. So that alone tells you it's a confusing mess.

Re: Is ROH actually ON TV?
Yeah, why? They’re making it more difficult for potential new viewers to watch their program. I put in a NYC zip code and it shows me Albany, does not mention Stadium. I went to Stadiums site and there is an affiliate on 55.3, but you would have to find that info on your own. ROHwrestling doesn’t even list that it airs on Stadium.Chrisvegas27 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 12:06 pmThey do have stadium and bally's networks that i don't think are listed on their siteNewROHFan2020 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 12:03 pm After looking to see if ROH aired in Philadelphia, I decided to look at other cities. It’s more of an observation than a complaint. As I am sure 99% of us would be able to find ROH on our own.famicommander wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 12:19 pm https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stadium_( ... Affiliates

The problem with Bally’s is that, it may or may not be offered by your cable or satellite company. And the program may not air consistently.
Also, most of their airings are late at night. It’s highly unlikely they’re getting the viewership claimed on the podcast a few months ago.

Re: Is ROH actually ON TV?
It's highly likely they are. We have verified Nielsen numbers from 2014-2015 and those were pretty high (~450-550K on syndicated local TV, ~173K on Destination America). They lost Destination America since then but gained several new local Sinclair syndicated stations, all the Bally networks, and Stadium.NewROHFan2020 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 1:27 pmIt’s more of an observation than a complaint. I believe the claims Koff made were 300-400K households most weeks and sometimes barely scraping 500K, which would indicate he was talking about US Nielsen ratings. Households is the metric they use for syndicated ratings so it makes sense that's what he would cite. Then in a later interview he claims they are in the mid to high hundreds of thousands overall, which would include digital platforms/international TV/DVR/etc.
The numbers Koff cited are right in line with the expected decline for TV from 6 years ago.

Just the fact 10 people as you claim watch it on tv should be enough proof.
unless you re always negative and think everyone is lying.....

Says the guy that believes every dirt sheet he reads. You said Omega wouldn’t lose the Impact title before the AEW title. Wrong. And you said ROH talent wouldn’t work with Rush’s promotion because ROH had a deal with CMLL. Next day a bunch of ROH people are on the card and the CMLL deal is over. You know nothing.

It would take me all day to list all the stupid things you've posted.NewROHFan2020 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 26, 2021 9:29 amSays the guy that believes every dirt sheet he reads. Thankfully I don't have to though, because history says you'll just continue posting even stupider nonsense for everyone to see.

Yeah, like logical stuff and making sense. Just because I don’t pass my own beliefs as facts, like you, doesn’t mean it’s stupid. But because I don’t like certain wrestlers, matches, or a fanboy, I am stupid. Okay.famicommander wrote: ↑Thu Aug 26, 2021 9:32 amIt would take me all day to list all the stupid things you've posted.NewROHFan2020 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 26, 2021 9:29 amSays the guy that believes every dirt sheet he reads. I've never understood how so many rasslin fans have so many problems with finding the ROH TV program. Even if you don't have an SBG station in your area Fite is accessible to you. It's amazing how rasslin was one of the first things to get a big internet following yet rasslin fans are so dense about finding content online or on an app.
