The Cheeseburger Thread

Post by Yugiohnoonoo »

I'm a big fan of Cheeseburger and I think he has the potential to be a star. I hope he wrestles on tv soon, and who knows maybe Brutal Bob will be his manager?

He's clearly very over with the fans and ROH is being smart to capitalize on that. It was reported that he got the second biggest pop in Milwaukee behind Steen which isn't something you just ignore.

I'm looking forward to seeing his match from Hoopla and hopefully Camp Cheese isn't a one time thing.

He's so different from the rest of the ROH locker room, he can really stand out. Sure, other wrestlers can be funny, but no one has really had a comedy character in ROH for quite some time.

One of ROH's faults is that it can sometimes get too intense and serious, so that by the end of the show you start to feel a bit burned out. Cheeseburger can provide that much needed levity, and he's been doing a great job so far!

It does look like we could be getting Brutal Bob as Cheeseburger's manager.

I'm not a huge fan of the Cheeseburger gimmick, but if his pop was the second behind Steen, as mentioned above, that isn't something you just ignore.

And we could call them team BobBurger.

I'm sorry, I think he's a fad like Fandango or something similar. I don't think he'll ever be more than what Grizzly Redwood was, to be honest.

Bobby is who Cheeseburger reminds me of, except Cheeseburger is much better in the role and likable. Bobby was never really liked, more pitied. Cheeseburger seems actually loved by the crowd and the Reclimation crowd supposedly loved him.

Steen posted a clip of him winning in the dark at Milwaukee and the crowd went nuts

I don't get the Bobby Dempsey comparisons however could you explain?
