Gateway to Honor took place in Collinsville, Illinois. Bobby Cruise announced him as fighting out of St. Louis, Missouri. Crowd pops for this. After the match, Davey says "it sucks to lose in your hometown".

What the fuck is going on? I don't live in America, so I don't get what these shenanigans are.

A great way to turn him heel and to continue turning Steen face would be to have Davey make Bobby Cruise announce wherever the show is as his "hometown". Some would buy it, but I bet a good vocal amount would boo him for that bullshit. Turn Davey by have him do what he's doing now, try too hard at being the ultimate babyface.
