NOAH Talent Finally Coming To ROH?

Post by BTW10 »

From F4W Newsletter
Eddie Edwards & Bobby Fish going to Japan in April for the Pro Wrestling NOAH tournament is part of a deal that will include some NOAH talent on upcoming shows, although it’s not clear who will be coming. In ROH, they are on opposite sides since they are doing the American Wolves vs. reDragons feud. On this weekend’s TV, Fish pointed out that he and Edwards were friends, have teamed up for years in NOAH and have an offer on the table to do so again and he’s not adverse to doing so. For logic, he pointed out that he doesn’t like Richards, but that Edwards made a bad choice to return as Richards’ partner.

Opponent for Roddy at Supercard of Honor? Question is who's left that would draw iPPV buys so would be worth flying in? KENTA or Morishima?

Elgin vs. Morishima

And since Steen will be busy:

KENTA vs. Jay Lethal or Adam Cole

Elgin vs KENTA.

I may or may not hitchhike to NYC just to see this match if it happens.

KENTA and Morishima would be the obvious choices. I would also be pretty stoked for Marufuji or Ishimori.
But seriously, it will probably just end up being the Bravados.

Or given the recent booking of Forever Hooligans, it could be someone from NJPW as well. They have a lot of guys on their roster that I would love to see in an ROH match.

Better hope it happens at the TV taping then.

I'd love a Steen versus KENTA meeting, simply for the brutality.

I'll also take KENTA versus Elgin though, or even versus Cole.

Mabey one day, they look like they have potential, but they are still very green, as in years away from being worthy of a spot... and it hard to take you seriously when you use the claw as a finish.

If it were either of those guys they would have been announced by now.

BRING BACK MORISHIMA

MORSHIMA NEVER GOT HIS TITLE REMATCH

WANT SOMEONE TO BEAT STEEN? GIVE THE KING BACK HIS THRONE ROH!
I'm gonna be at the top of the mountain in three years, with or without this belt. I'm gonna be the best that ever lived. And what you don't understand is, even if I don't get that far, at least I had the courage to get off my ass and try.

Another problem is this show is taking place so close to NOAH's biggest show of the year;

Kenta Kobashi's retirement show

that'd be awesome, but the title match is already set for BW.

I don't think it would be a problem since, if I'm reading this poster right, this show is May 11th. Border Wars is the week before that, on May 4th.

as unlikely as it is, I would live to see Kobashi in an ROH ring one more time.
