That's more than a grand higher than even a fully loaded WWF world title belt (w/old style WWF logo) costs directly from Milican's website. A person would have to be the ultimate ROH fan to want to shell out that much, especially considering there is zero fan attachment to a title belt that has only so far been seen on one iPPV a few weeks ago. It's not like the NWA world belt or the "winged eagle" WWF belt (always thought that a stupid name: all eagles have wings!), where there is a nostalgic thing that makes people want to lay down the cash to have one of their own.

Asking people to pay that price is insulting! I could understand a few hundred dollars, but a few thousand??? The awesome NWA replica didn't even sell for that much. I have a replica of the 1987 wwf title and I only paid $200 for that.

it's not an insult - SBC can pretty much ask whatever they want. it's your choice whether to pay it or not.

that being said, the title of this thread, and anyone calling this a "replica", is wrong.

that's hardly a replica - that's a company manufacturing a belt specifically for you - checkout the turnaround time - a MINIMUM of 28 weeks - that's more than 6 months. this is a real belt, and real belts cost a lot more than a "few hundred dollars".

i can't remember what the strap cost us when i co-owned a company, but it was definitely well over 1,000 bucks.

Yeah, like "Tree" wrote, this is not a replica belt like one of those commercially produced deals. The title of this thread is inaccurate. What they're selling is an exact copy of the current ROH belt. There is a huge difference in quality. A good, basic belt typically runs over a thousand dollars. Quality title belts like the one they're selling usually are about $2500. That's still more than a grand less than what they're charging, but why not put it out there to see if someone will pay? More power to them if someone will.

Just noticed they put the old belts up for signifcantly cheaper (around 1,475) which is what a good quality belts costs
