MVP of 2012?
So it's pretty simple discussion, who was the MVP of ROH in 2012?

Re: MVP of 2012?
Could've been Elgin, but they didn't capitalise on the Davey match soon enough and they ruined the potential of the Roderick feud by dragging it out for what, 7 or 8 months? He may have had the 2 best matches this year, but between them there wasn't really anything that great.
Steen.
Steen.

Re: MVP of 2012?
Michael Elgin. He was involve in 2 of the best matches this year (vs Steen and vs Davey) and this was his breakout year.
2nd Steen for his title reign and being the major point of ROH this year.
3rd Adam Cole for consolidate himself as a major player on ROH and have some great matches too (vs Richards, vs O´Reilly, vs Mondo and vs Edwards for example).

Re: MVP of 2012?
Steen has been the best thing about ROH all year...by some distance.
Adam Cole has had a great year, Elgin has had some great individual performances. Jay Lethal has been very consistent, Ciampa was improving massively until he got injured and whilst he went off the rails outside the ring, Davey has produced some amazing matches too
But let's not kid ourselves, Steen has been the major draw and carried the promotion through a really tough year. Not sure anyone else comes too close...

Re: MVP of 2012?
Kevin Steen or Adam Cole for me.
Re: MVP of 2012?
I want to say Elgin, I really do but there was too much of him doing nothing between his amazing matches.
Everyone's saying Steen but I'll throw Jay Lethal's hat into the ring.
Nobody can deny that Lethal has put on great match after great match this year

Re: MVP of 2012?
Elgin has had the most standout year performance wise, but Steen kept the fans coming and watching. Without him I think the company would have completely tanked this year.

Michael Elgin
Steen's reign unfortunately was a huge disappointment, similair to Richards, his reign just started to get good when he's about to drop it.

Steen's title reign, promos, and matches have been the key for me. Elgin, Cole # 2 & 3 for their breakout years.

Re: MVP of 2012?
It seems to me, and to most people replying here, that there are only thee names worthy of serious consideration this year: Steen, Elgin, and Cole. Of those three I have to go with the consensus pick, Kevin Steen.
Re: MVP of 2012?
Yeah. Steen, Elgin and Cole have been by far and away the best in ROH in 2012. Steen wins it for me though. He's had the best title reign IMO since Nigel and has put on numerous great matches. I'd put Elgin second for having two matches in my top five of 2012 (the only wrestler with that distinction). Cole's had a great year but I feel him pinning Davey should've been capitalised on more. 2013 SHOULD be the year of Adam Cole in ROH though.
Re: MVP of 2012?
1. Steen
2. Elgin
3. Cole
2. Elgin
3. Cole
