When the Carolinas were canceled, there was a thread about it on the forums.

I won't say names but people kept arguing about why the show was canceled.

A forum member decided to call up one of the Carolina buildings (can't remember if it was NC or SC) and ask why the show was canceled. He got some girl that worked at a building named Stacy who I'm sure had no clue why ROH Wrestling was canceled and told him one thing.

Another forum member later on called the same building and talked to Stacy himself and got a different reason.

It just created this whole convoluted mess and it was such an absurd thing to do to be proven right in an internet discussion.

That is the story of Stacy.

Nice to be see that their will be a cage match on this show. I've always enjoyed ROH Cage Matches. The only question is who will be involved?...Especially when DBD is a week after this show

Yeah I've been wating for them to do another Steel Cage Warfare for awhile they're long overdue for one IMO but I'd imagine they'd save something like SCW for an iPPV (but hey maybe I'm wrong). What you suggested could be a good idea based of what happened this past weekend, but we'll have to wait & see. It might end up being one on one, who knows?

ROH doesnt do enough cage matches (recently) IMO. This is the first ROH Cage Match since July of last year. They could have easily done a cage match in the past year (ANX/Briscoes, WGTT/Briscoes, Strong/Edwards, even Steen could have had a cage match as part of the "Cornette Trying to Soften Him Up" Story). ROH should have a least one a year, but I'd prefer two. Just a thought...

The least cage matches that happen the more attractives and important that the matches would look when they book them iMO

I agree 100% but I just think it's bad to go a long period of time without one of these matches. The cage match should happen more frequently (one or twice a year) in ROH than say the Ladder War which is more of a tag team specialty and requires specific circumstances (essentially Cage Match has less restrictions than something like Ladder War). I'm just saying the cage could have been used ONCE over the past year. The WGTT/Briscoes match from Dayton this past April could have easily been a cage match (And probably should have been). It would have added something new to the feud and would have been a great lead up to their Border Wars match. But again I do agree with you....Less can be better (especially in ROH's case)

Of course, Sandy was absolutely right - they're not returning to Spartanburg. This is just further evidence that the Winston-Salem/Spartanburg doubleshot was not canceled because of talent restriction. If it was a problem with talent, why not schedule the return to North Carolina with Winstom-Salem? Of course it was ticket problems, and they're coming back to a place where they've done a stronger job of drawing in the past.

That said, I love the Charlotte-shows I've been too. Not a downer in the bunch. I'll be buying front row tix and hopefully we'll get another great showing in the Metrolina!
