Only one show?
Re: Supercard of Honor VII announced for WM Weekend
Maybe they'll add another one before then? That didn't even cross my mind.

Re: Supercard of Honor VII announced for WM Weekend
I just read this in my email. Wow this came out of nowhere! Maybe they will do a show at another venue the following day. I don't see them running hammerstein back to back. By then they better bring outside talent for this show.
Re: Supercard of Honor VII announced for WM Weekend
I was more surprised that they're still running the Hammerstein. After putting only 1200 in there for BITW12, I thought they might come off it. Hopefully Final Battle will have a bigger number to justify this.

Let's hope. It will be the first time in 6 months that roh went there.
Re: Supercard of Honor VII announced for WM Weekend
I mean one show is cool I guess but I was planning on making this my first WM weekend. Guess I'll have to look for DGUSA or something on Saturday.
Re: Supercard of Honor VII announced for WM Weekend
The real question is, what will the sub-title be?
Supercard of Honor VII: The New Blood
Supercard of Honor VII: Generations
Supercard of Honor VII: Diamonds Are Forever
Supercard of Honor VII and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1

Oh, duh. It's WM-weekend, I don't know what I was thinking. They shouldn't have trouble selling out the Hammerstein then.

Re: Supercard of Honor VII announced for WM Weekend
could this be the return of NOAH guys? I mean there were rumours last year they wanted to bring in guys like KENTY, Suzuki, Marafuji, etc. but couldn't because NOAH has a thin roster themselves. Might the Supercard moniker be an indication they have finally worked sth out to fly them in? what you guys think?

Re: Supercard of Honor VII announced for WM Weekend
I think it's just going to be a major ROH show. There might be some fly-ins from NOAH, or talent similar to Finlay, etc., but overall I think it'll be more of just a major ROH show.

WM Weekends brings in a bunch of outside fans so the New York crowd will hopefully be drowned out.

I also think the only reason we haven't seen them so far this year is because KENTA has been injured. They could bring in Shiozaki/Marufuji/Morishima, but everyone knows KENTA is the guy most people really wanna see.
