As much as i enjoy Dynamite; i can't stand Dark. To be fair; it's supposed to be "dark' matches that they don't technically air... but it just seems odd to me. Why have 11 dark matches; why feature all this talent, that you don't have under contract. Why are a majority of jobbers still so green. Why do so many people watch this?? Why are Lucha Bros on this, and not Dynamite?!? Seems like they try to fit the guys like dark order jobbers, Luther, Janela/Kiss, etc etc to give them some wins. Nothing on the show really matters... although it is nice getting more wrestlers a chance to work out for AEW. Personally i'd rather spend that hour or two watching Impact/MLW or another promotion. My guess, is that are they gearing up for a second show in 2021, but hopefully it's a lot more like Dynamite and less like Dark. Or maybe AEW is in works to start a development school/promotion.
Truthfully i don't watch it a ton; and i did check out Ben Carter's match. I've tried here and there; and it's just not for me.
