Gonna be pissed if the world title picture after tonight's post-show chaos results in not being a mix of my personal AEW Mt. Rushmore (Punk, MJF, Kingston, Danielson.)

The sooner Danielson gets back into the world title picture, exuding his bad motherfucker side and stops having fun pussyfooting around in silly rassler vs. sports-entertainer narratives that apply to beta male nerds, the better. Jericho got totally exposed tonight and was fucking pathetic, and I'm tired of Garcia being presented as a neutered pussy instead of just being a grown-ass man about Jericho's lack of reciprocated loyalty to him.

Khan is obviously a bit overwhelmed right now, but even so, it's so obvious after last night to pull the trigger at Grand Slam...

Unless the champs go full heel in the rematch that night, delaying the win for the Tri-State Area return at Full Gear.

If it's not a work, overwhelmed is not the word I would use. Feckless? Coward? Those might be better. Again, if it's not a work, him just sitting there while Punk trashed key people in the locker room is just incomprehensible.

Poetic coincidence:

Punk's return was a nod to the MJ-centric Bulls documentary.

Punk is acting just like MJ, who appeared to rarely shy away from airing dirty laundry and then went on to use his HOF speech to settle old scores at the expense to viewers' comfort.

In addition, let's also not forget that MJF aired the DBD3 snippet to close the show. Punk's press conference behavior would be in sync with the narrative being pushed creatively.
