Huh. I kind of figured they'd save this for the Tokyo Dome.jordidebaas wrote:The first three matches for Power Struggle have been announced:

But I prefer Shibata & Goto get Tag Title shot for Dome.Big Red Machine wrote:Huh. I kind of figured they'd save this for the Tokyo Dome.jordidebaas wrote:The first three matches for Power Struggle have been announced:

Re: The NJPW Thread
Yeah, Goto & Shibata have made a pact with Makabe & Tanahashi to eradicate Bullet Club, so I expect they'll win the tag league then win the tag straps.
My predicted card:
Hiroshi Tanahashi (c) vs. Kazuchika Okada
Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. Outsider/Yoshitatsu
Tomohiro Ishii (c) vs. Kota Ibushi
Gallows & Anderson (c) vs. Goto & Shibata
AJ Styles (ROH Champion) vs. Tetsuya Naito
Minoru Suzuki vs. Kazushi Sakuraba
Togi Makabe vs. Bad Luck Fale
Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. Satoshi Kojima

Re: The NJPW Thread
^ Great Card, but didn't Makabe vs. Fale already happen at the Dome Show this past go around? I think it was a King of Destroyer Match which (I believe) Makabe won.
Also, did they have some kind of segment with Goto & Shibata agreeing to help Tanahashi & Makabe? I assume that happened at some point recently...

Re: The NJPW Thread
Okay... but why are Goto and Shibata so anti-Bullet Club all of a sudden? It seems that this would make a lot more sense for CHAOS to team up with Tanahashi & Makabe to get rid of the Bullet Club.Robareid wrote:Yeah, Goto & Shibata have made a pact with Makabe & Tanahashi to eradicate Bullet Club, so I expect they'll win the tag league then win the tag straps.
