I guess it's possible Ishii could defend it on one of the "Road To Wrestling Dontaku" shows (like he did a few weeks ago against EVIL). I think the idea right now is that he's going to lose it to a ROH guy at some point during the upcoming joint shows in May.

Apparently, Will Ospreay was injured and couldn't wrestle for RevProUK against Elgin, he was replaced by Ricochet.

Apparently it wasn't a major injury. It was something minor, and RevPro decided to take precautions (kinda similar to what happened with Tommy End earlier this year when he missed those PWG shows in March).

From Ospreay's Instagram a few days ago:

willospreay We'll see that lump coming out the right side of my knee....that's not meant to be there. Damage ligaments and some fluid on the knee. Looks like your boy is grounded this week. #pissed

Very good news, and I think it was the right move for Ospreay. I firmly believe he'll be in WWE someday, but right now, going with the New Japan was the better option. He'll get to work the some of the best in the world, and hone his skills even more. I think Zack Sabre Jr. tweeted out after his match with Ospeay in Evolve that as good as Ospreay is now, he'll be even better after spending time in Japan (not the exact wording, but something along those lines).

Tanahashi has this to say about Ospreay on a recent podcast (translated by Chris Charlton), which should give you some hints about what people in NJPW think about him:
