He will eventually sell the company. Hopefully not to another wrestling promotion.

I hope Nickie James drop the title to Murdoch. Nick is approaching Jarrett levels. Remember when Jarrett beat Monty Brown and Raven, two bad booking decisions.

He doesn’t watch and claims facts without proof, just his own biased thoughts on the NWA.

The creator of The Wrestling Estate went on our pal Lavie Margolin's podcast and straight up called BS on Fite saying NWA has far exceeded expectations:
https://www.spreaker.com/user/creativec ... usiness-23

He says that Fite contacted him directly and asked if The Wrestling Estate would cover NWA more because, in their own words, "It could use the help".

A podcaster with less than 1,500 followers on Twitter had a Wrestling Twitter account with 11,000 followers claiming FITE with 86,000 followers reached out to them for more coverage. Sad you believe stuff like this.

You don't seem to understand anything other than Twitter followers so it's pretty worthless even discussing things with you.

Chances are Fite reached out to pretty much every wrestling news site looking for more coverage for NWA. The Wrestling Estate gets over 68,000 people per month to their website (and only 9% of their traffic comes from social media vs 75% via Google search). They mostly cover indie wrestling which means their small userbase is likely engaged heavily and would be the right target audience to try to market the NWA to.

And there is no way Lavie Margolin would bring someone on to spread lies about NWA. The Wrestling Estate has done nothing to call their journalistic integrity into question and Lavie is a known source and quality member of this site.

Whatever you say. The NWA has a very recognizable men’s champion. The uber-nerdy indie fanbase already know of Nick Aldis. He is more popular and recognizable than Rush. Serena Deeb and ThunderRosa have about 100,000k followers and they will be more popular than whoever will be the ROH champ, outside of maybe Angelina Love. Quinn McKay barely has over 20k and she’s hosts like every single show ROH has.

NWA doesn’t need coverage from this website.

There are zero wrestling promotions on this planet that would prefer Nick Aldis to Rush. Zero.

Any promoter would take Aldis over Rush in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, most of Europe, Canada, and the southern US. Lol at zero. Just more bias you’re spewing.

Says the guy that claims no promoter in English speaking countries would choose someone who doesn’t speak good English and has never wrestled in WWE and has been in only ROH since 2019 lol

Rush had offers from every major promotion both of the last two times he was a free agent. He felt WWE lowballed him this last time around but they still made an offer. Rush has sold out Arena Mexico. Rush appeared for ROH, CMLL, NJPW, and AAA in 2019; ROH and AAA in 2020. Rush is champion of a major promotion.

The only reason anybody would ever book Aldis over Rush is if they couldn't afford Rush. Wrestlers get paid based on what they draw. Asses in seats, eyes on television, eyes on streams, PPV buys. They do not get paid based on Twitter followers. If they did, the women would be the highest paid stars in the industry. The promotion Nick Aldis works for is exclusive to a paid subscription on a tiny streaming service that already airs the show Rush is on for free. The promotion Aldis works for has withered away during his reign and the only time they ever drew was when ROH talent was appearing on their cards. Powerrr declined severely in Youtube views for its run and that's not even debatable.

I believe Aldis would get book over Rush everywhere including Mexico. If you watch Cmll and Aaa history with booking Sam Adonis and Jeff Jarrett, they love Aldis type.

A lot of people get WWE offers, the point is, he’s never worked there. So the average wrestling fan in Australia doesn’t know who he is unless they watch ROH. Nobody in Australia watches Mexican wrestling and no promoter down there cares how often he sells out arenas there.

If you ran a comic con in the US, you wouldn’t bring in some Chinese guy who barely speaks English to your comic con because he sells out at shows in China. Ridiculous logic, especially if you’re in a part of the country without a huge Chinese population. How many Mexicans live in Australia lol

And yet you think all these people know or care about Nick Fucking Aldis?

He's a nobody. He's a never was. Nobody cares about his Twitter followers which is why he works for NWA to begin with.

More do. He wrestled in Impact when they were more popular, he’s been around longer. He is married to a WWE talent. He is associated with Conrad Thompson. He’s way more popular and well known than Rush. Probably everywhere except Mexico. Not even close.

Then why does he work for a promotion that paid its TV champion $250 per month?

Why does he work for a promotion that had a women's champion who had to sell off autographed, ring-worn merch online just so she could afford to fix her car and drive to her next indie booking?

Nick Aldis champion of a completely irrelevant promotion that, at best, a couple thousand people worldwide watch. He's in NWA because nobody else wants him even a tiny bit.

Just like when he ended up champion of Jeff Jarrett's drunk ass cash for gold scheme promotion.

TV champion pay has nothing to do with Aldis/Rush

Women’s champion pays has nothing to do with Aldis/Rush

Please post any links that claim “a couple of thousand people worldwide watch”

Jeff Jarrett has nothing to do with Aldis/Rush

If you google “Rush” he doesn’t even come up. Only the 80s band and a movie from 8 years ago.

If you think NWA is getting more than a few thousand Fite subscriptions you're straight up on crack.

Billy Corgan's NWA is pretty much the same shit as Jeff Jarrett's GFW. Even a lot of the same talent.
