craziest spots ever

Post by Brada »

I'm trying to show a work buddy who isnt a wrestling fan some of the dangerous stunts attempted in wrestling over the years..

There are a couple of obvious ones that all involve Hell in a Cell matches...Foley (twice), Shane...

but what are the others that don't involve Hell in a Cell matches?

Elix Skipper tight rope walking the top of the cage into a Huracanrana on Daniels in TNA..

Vic Grimes flopping down off a scaffold onto tables in XPW...

Raven handcuffed to the cage taking the chairshot to the head from Dreamer in ECW..

What else am I missing?

I was trying to think of ROH's craziest spot...

Steen Package Piledriver on Generico thru the ladder at FB....

Jacobs/Whitmer driving spikes into each other's heads inside the cage in Detroit....

I was lucky enough to be there live for these 2.........both were nuts...

Shane McMahon fall from SummerSlam 2000. Shane leap of faith from top of stage at Backlash 2000 or 2001 can't remember which year exactly.

Two spots from Mania 17 TLC match Edge/Jeff Hardy spear and Bubba Ray Dudley and Matt Hardy getting tipped off a ladder into tables outside.

Another Cell monent, Rikishi chokeslammed off top onto truck bed

Footage of wrestling's craziest stunt ever in is probably buried deep under Titan Towers and for good reason because it killed Owen Hart.

For ROH, Jack Evans did a double moonsault off the scramble cage.

The show where Whitmer power bombed Jacobs off the top rope and 5 rows into the crowd. That was fucking insane. Yeah there were plants everywhere but you really think how close either guy could have gotten killed is mind blowing.

Sabu & Original Shiek vs Tarzan Goto & Onita in the 'Let's Legitmately Burn the Ring Down' match

Just jump to 1:37 if you haven't seen it before.

This is what happens when you have someone ask, "How much gasoline should we use?" and the response is, "Just use all of it. What can it hurt?"

Didn't think there was a chance in hell that was going Broadway before I watched that. Your commentary was hilarious and spot on.

Where do deathmatch spots, like in BJW or CZW, count in this? Are we leaning more toward "crazy" spots or promoters taking advantage of underpaid talent they push as "crazy" in order to glorify the destruction of the talents' bodies?

How can we forget the Mulkey Brothers getting the crap kicked out of them every weekend. One of them takes two really bad ones back to back starting at 4:27. The sound of flesh smacking the concrete that hard.

Good lord. Had never seen that either. Can you imagine being ringside in the building watching that. Lmao, that referee looked like he just stepped out of the shower...
