Thinking of buying a Replica Title Belt
Thinking of buying a Replica Title Belt
Has anyone on here bought one? Is it worth it? It's kind of always one of things I've wanted to do and I have been giving it some serious thought lately. I'd probably go with the White IC Title Replica.
Any first hand accounts from belt holders would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Thinking of buying a Replica Title Belt
Never really got the appeal of replica belts, always thought those who take them to shows look super awkward. If you just want it as an ornament, then I could see that. But each unto their own I guess.
That being said, if I was going to get one the White IC would probably be the route I go, it's a damn nice looking belt.

Re: Thinking of buying a Replica Title Belt
I have 8 of them right now. I don't take them to shows though. It would be weird. I have them on display in my basement. I am seeing Flair and Nash next week and want them to sign one of the belts but I would want to bring it right back to the car after.
Right now I have
WWE Undisputed
WCW Cruiserweight
NWA TNA original X title
NWA globe belt from 70's early 80's
WWE Spinner
Big gold belt
WWF attitude
and I had the WWF version smoking skull but sold it.
Depending on the belt I would pay $150-$250 nothing more though. I sold the smoking skull for $550 and thought I made out good. I paid $120 for it. ROH has replica belts now too though that look pretty good.

Thanks for the replies!
You say you would usually pay $150-200 for a belt, where do you usually buy them? eBay? I know WWE Shop sometimes has sales that mark them down to like $250, but I am curious to know where you buy.
Thanks.

I would search Craigslist in the US. A good tool is www.allofcraigslist.com it spans the whole country. I would pay shipping but the deals would be worth it. Make sure you get a lot of pics first and have the seller insure or even if you have to pay a little more insure the belts up to the ammt you pay for them in case they were to be damaged in shipping. I haven't had this happen yet but it is a safe practice to use.
Re: Thinking of buying a Replica Title Belt
anyone have any of the ROH belts?
I thought about getting one, and putting in in a shadow box, autographed with all the former champs I have had the chance to meet, and have the pictures I have taken with each of them surrounding the belt.
I would put it in my media room, that is already full of sports memorabilia.
I just want to make sure the belt is of good quality before I drop $350 on it......

What the hell?! Get the most important title of them all
NWA Western States Heritage Title, bay bay.

When you have a history of champions that consist of Barry Windham, Larry Zbyszco and... actually those were the only two, and Larry never defended it after he won it. But still, say it out loud. It just rolls off the tongue.

Bought an old stone cold eagle belt, had it signed by angle. Never really did much with it but its just one of those things you have to buy.

Be careful what you're buying. People will releather the plates and sell it as new on ebay.
