Yep, it was easily the best live show I've ever been to, and the main event was the best match I've ever seen live too. Also, Ishii was announced for the next York Hall show. Never did I think I'd have a chance to see Ishii live.

One hell of a show. After a slow start the second half was incredible, and the main event was my current Western MotY. Must see.

Definitely looking forward to seeing this show. I actually have a few questions. When you buy an RPW Show on Demand, do you own it forever or only a specific amount of time? I'm probably buying 3-4 Shows this weekend, so I'm just curious so I can know how long I have to watch it.

Also, since Ishii is booked for their June Show, do you have any ideas on who he should face? Personally, I think RPW should seize the moment and book Ishii vs. Samoa Joe. That would be great.

I think it's forever, although I can't confirm that. It's at least three months, as I still have access to shows I bought three months ago. When you buy it on demand it also allows you to download the file too, so if you do that then you have it for however long you don't delete the file.

As for who he faces, I could see them putting him against Mastiff. Or if Martin Stone's VISA issues are sorted out by then, he could be another option. I could definitely see the Joe thing happening though.

As in a fine wrestler, or as in back working in the country?

He was working some ONO shows for TNA this past weekend, which is probably the non-kayfabe explanation for his absence (and sure, he's a fine wrestler too ;) ).

Ah, right. He was missing two weekends straight, but I guess TNA's been here for a while and I haven't looked at spoilers.

Saying VISA was a really shit kayfabe excuse then. I mean, he's a native, why would he have VISA problems.

I just watched Summer Sizzler 2014 and really enjoyed it. Quick question though.

Do Rev Pro DVDs play in the US? Which shows would you recommend buying? Thanks.

Never seen this thread, it's nice. High Stakes 2014 was something awesome I'd recommend that.

I'm unsure if their DVDs play out of the UK, if not they have a VOD place: https://vimeo.com/revprouk

In general all their York Hall shows are pretty great, while their other shows are far more hit and miss.

Finally got around to watching High Stakes 2014 & Summer Sizzler 2014. Both were really great shows. Personally, I think Will Ospreay is something special. He's going to be a big star.

Totally. All depends on if he takes the jump to become full-time, which is really hard here in the UK from conversations I've had. If he can get over to Japan or the US though, he really is destined for greatness. I wasn't a wrestling fan back then, but from talking to guys at shows who've seen both guys come up he's strides ahead of where PAC was at his age.

I just purchased the VOD for High Stakes 2015 and loved it. Can't wait to check out more RevPro.

Bought Uprising 2013 and High Stakes 2015 for download.

I haven't finished with Uprising yet, but I have to say, Devitt vs. Ricochet and Sabre Jr. vs. Richards are 2 AMAZING matches. Especially ZSJ/Richards.

So i purchased Okada vs. Aries during the sale and actually was not very impressed with the match. It was definitely the weakest show of the four i have bought. I would give the main ***1/2.

So for the 4 shows i purchased, i would rank them as follows:

High Stakes 2015 - Must buy
Summer Sizzler 2014 - Very good
Uprising 2013 - Very good
Okada vs Aries - Avoid

Top Matches from these shows:

Ricochet vs. Marty Scurll (High Stakes 2015) - ****1/4
AJ Styles vs. Will Ospreay (High Stakes 2015)- ****
Davey Richards vs. Zach Sabre Jr. (Uprising 2013) - ****
Prince Devitt vs. Adam Cole - (Summer Sizzler 2014) ****
Prince Devitt vs. Ricochet - (Uprising 2013) ***3/4
Nakamura vs. Zack Sabre Jr. (Summer Sizzler 2014) ***3/4
Okada vs. Aries ***1/2 (Okada vs. Aries)

I will probably wait to buy Summer Sizzler 2015 when it comes out as my next purchase.

Yeah, Okada vs. Aries wasn't a very strong show. I liked the main a lot (****), but I expect a lot of that was seeing Okada live, but the rest of the card was pretty eh.

I also partook in the sale and got Summer Sizzler 2014, Uprising 2014 and Okada vs. Aries.

I've only watched Summer Sizzler, but holy shit was that show great. ZSJ vs. Nakamura was amazing. Devitt vs. Cole was damn good. I look forward to the rest.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Ricochet announced for Summer Sizzler 2015!!!!!!!! :D

Revolution Pro just stole my heart. Hopefully Lucha Underground doesn't f*ck up this match like they did with Okada vs. Ricochet.
