I know he's said in interviews, including his Reddit AMA that he intends to have little or no onscreen role. We'll see how well he keeps to that promise but it could just be some early appearances for name recognition's sake until the promotion gets off the ground

I'll at least give this a good chance (provided they make it to air)
I'm very interested to see how they handle Ciampa and Moose

The card looks great, it really does. I'd like to see when they start busting out some other talent. Also, when will this be more easily accessable?

Apparently the GFW Grand Slam Tour Show on Saturday in Reno, Nevada drew only 200 fans.

So Karl Anderson missed the shows this weekend (I believe due to travel issues though I'm not totally sure). I haven't seen results from Richmond, but do you know what the Main Event was in Harrisburg?
Pat Buck def Dirty Money via piledriver

Pepper Parks def Kevin Matthews when he hits a lung blower

Baxter says GFW’s mission is to present wrestling the way it used to be. And out comes Jeff Jarrett for a promo and thanks the fans.

Due to travel issues, Karl Anderson is not here. Ali Akbar & Saraya cut a heel promo and main event is Doc Gallows vs Akbar & Sanada.

Kimber Lee def Cherry Bomb via alligator clutch

Eddie Smooth def BLK Jeez after he hits an elbow drop off the top

Chris Masters def Curt Hawkins with the Masterlock

Kevin Nash said during a promo, “the torch has been passed from the nWo to the Bullet Club.”

Doc Gallows w/ Amber Gallows def Ali Akbar & Sanada in a handicapped match when Doc Gallows used a bat from Jeff Jarrett while the ref was down and pinned Ali Akbar
Doc Gallows....as a babyface....in a handicap match. What a horrible looking card that was.

Also, I was listening to Rich & Joe on the Voices of Wrestling Podcast tonight, and they talked about an interesting situation involving Candice LeRae & GFW. The gist of it is that she no-showed the TV Tapings last week in Las Vegas (I didn't even notice, but I guess that shows how much attention people pay to GFW), and GFW got mad because, not only did they not find out until the last minute, but apparently they were going to book her to be the first GFW Women's Champion (I guess this means Candice is done with GFW). They did also mention that she had no showed a few other indies recently, and that her & Joey Ryan are no longer taking bookings as a pair (they need to be booked separately). They do a better job explaining it on the podcast.

I know she missed Beyond a couple months ago due to some supposed injury.

So apparently the GFW Ballpark Shows in Texas were all cancelled.

EDIT: Here's what PWInsider said about the situation:
As noted earlier on PWInsider.com, Global Force Wrestling quietly announced their October events in Texas would be postponed until 2016.

In asking around, I was told there were several reasons why the company opted to hold off on the dates. The primary reason is that it appears Jeff Jarrett will need to be in London, England for GFW business that week and GFW, in it's fledgling state, isn't going to run an event with Jarrett directing traffic at this point.

There were also some additional issues with that weekend as the timing of the dates led to changes in some of the talent due to Japanese commitments and even the "Legend" that was being brought in as the "special guest" for the loop had to be changed due to cancellations.

There was also a feeling that with WWE NXT running San Antonio, it would be harder to follow them into that market. WWE announced a Raw taping for Corpus Christi, so that market became a concern as well.

So, the company made the call to postpone the dates as opposed to moving forward with what seemed to be a "haunted" weekend.

It's a shame PWG doesn't have a bit of GFW's touring ambition.

so uhhh......it looks...pretty......good??? I'm glad they've gone for a very different approach, have to see if it pans out, but 15 episodes shouldn't be too much hardship. Actually mildly excited now.

I wasn't interested at all, i am even less interested now.
Do someone know something about Boulder Creek International ? Is that supposed to be a big deal ?
I'm not sure, but from what i understand they are just a content provider/producer, it doesn't insure GFW to be shown on TV.
If i'm right, this not really a TV deal if not a single channel want to pick the program, right ?

Its not a tv deal, its a distribution company that will look for a tv deal in the UK....

All right, thanks for clarifying.
I read "GFW signed a TV deal" on a wrestling news website, obviously to attract people, that's why i was wondering.

Is this promotion dead in the water ? They have no upcoming events, no TV deal and no talent under contract. Jarrett would have been wise to start on a smaller scale. He could have run events in places like Nashville , , Louisville , Memphis, Philly , Chicago and Atlanta in order to build a fan base and generate ticket , DVD and VOD revenue . He should have gotten the promotion up and running , then try to find the right TV deal. It took years for ROH and TNA to find TV homes.

JJ wants to be big time right out the gate instead of building the promotion step by step. It could be his downfall.
