Observer:
For people who have asked about the big October show in Australia that was supposed to be announced a few weeks ago, I don’t have anything new on it. WWE haven’t answered any questions when asked about the show. They did briefly announce the show on Raw after it got reported in a number of places. At that time the story was the big announcement would be made in early April in Mania week.

Craig Hutchinson, one of the major sports media figures in Melbourne, said that the WWE show on 10/6 at MCG Stadium was confirmed. WWE has continued not answering any questions on this subject

Observer:
While this has been said before, including at a WWE Investors call, and Vince McMahon changed his mind on it, right now the idea of ICW and Progress from the U.K. going to the WWE Network is back on, at least this week. But this is close enough that we’ve been told the announcement, if it happens, would be coming right around the time or at the Royal Albert Hall shows
WWE has also gotten aggressive regarding trying to sign up indie talent with MLW as the target since they just got television. That will be interesting because the key guys MLW is relying on have signed contracts... There were reports that WWE approached several wrestlers under contract to MLW. According to legal papers sent, the talent advised MLW of the offers and told WWE they were signed, but WWE told the wrestlers they should still come to a tryout and be around the system. In the past, WWE would back off when approaching talent under contract to a degree due to what happened in the past with ROH. They’ll still get word indirectly to tell people not to renew their deals like they did with ROH (and there were guys in ROH based on promises made and such while under contract that one would think was tampering, and that’s what led to the legal situation last year where WWE had to pull all offers from ROH talent and waited months after their contracts expired before approaching them again, although in the end the guys like Kyle O’Reilly, Adam Cole and Bobby Fish all came. The MLW deals signed with its key talent were for multiple years. A key may have been MJF signing with MLW

Observer:
WWE has made a working agreement, at least at this point, with Pro Wrestling NOAH. Not sure what it entails, but it is notable being the first time in decades that the company has worked with a Japanese promotion. Right now the first thing with the deal is Itami returning to NOAH for an 8/29 show
Bryan being announced [for Super Showdown and the European tour) is not a sign that he has signed a new contract, as he has not. It is certainly possible, perhaps even likely, that he will. He also could go independent and do appearances with the company on shows like this, similar to what Rey Mysterio Jr., has done so far this year. The difference between he and Lesnar is that Lesnar would be extremely unhappy about being announced for a date he’s not agreed to and it would give him a lot of leverage at that point. With Bryan, it’s not going to be the same situation.

Just started re-watching NXT, man I miss Tyson Kidd. Could've been a great midcard heel on Smackdown right now

Although no location should be considered a sure thing this early in the process, the following locations are already under consideration for WrestleMania 36; Atlanta (Ga.), Minneapolis (Mn.) and Florida (the city is unknown, but the source speculated Jacksonville and Miami/Miami Gardens for unknown reasons).

Atlanta is home to Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which was built in 2017. Both the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United FC play there. The stadiums capacity is about 83,000. WrestleMania 27 was held at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, which closed in 2017.

Minneapolis is home to U.S. Bank Stadium, which broke ground in 2013 but opened in 2016. The Minnesota Vikings play there. The stadiums capacity is about 73,000. Minnesota has never hosted a WrestleMania, although in recent years it has been briefly considered. The source loved the idea of Minneapolis hosting WrestleMania.

Florida is home to numerous large stadiums. The Sunshine State has hosted three WrestleMania's in the past 11 years (Orlando twice and Miami Gardens, which was billed as Miami).

Jacksonville is home to TIAA Bank Field, which broke ground in 1994, opened in 1995 and was renovated in 2016. The stadiums capacity is about 82,000. Jacksonville has never hosted a WrestleMania.

Miami Gardens is home to Hard Rock Stadium, which broke ground in 1985 and opened in 1987. The stadiums capacity is about 80,000. WrestleMania 28 was held at Hard Rock Stadium (then known as Sun Life Stadium).
