DO NOT CLICK ON LINK BELOW UNLESS YOU'RE ON A PRIVATE COMPUTER AND HAVE POP-UP BLOCKERS. YOU WILL STILL SEE SMUT ADS SINCE DAVE SCHERER AND MIKE JOHNSON ARE SCUMBAG MOTHERFUCKERS.

Mike Johnson wrote:Randy Orton is slated to go to the WWE Performance Center next week to work out in anticipation of being medically cleared for his return to the ring later this summer, PWInsider.com has learned.

Orton has been out of action since following a shoulder surgery in December 2015.

Orton has been advertised for some WWE events in Texas this August.

There is a belief among some we've spoken to that Orton could be facing Brock Lesnar at Summerslam, but PWInsider.com has not confirmed that to be 100%.

Observer:
Some names WWE has shown interest in bringing in are Curt Hawkins, James Yun, Volador Jr., and Rush. Rush attended a tryout last year and at the time the WWE picked Sombra. Yun, who was Jimmy Wang Yang, was backstage at Raw and posted a photo of himself there saying he was waiting for his meeting. An idea going around was to bring back older guys who can still go to put over the younger guys after the brand split when they need more bodies for television. He would fit the criteria. Even though he dates back to the glory era of the business, he started young and he’s only 35 now. He was a very good worker but got out of wrestling to start a new business, “Jimmy’s Pest Control,” in Cincinnati

If Roderick Strong comes in, it’s expected to be along the lines of Austin Aries or Johnny Gargano (he won’t have to train daily at the Performance Center kind of a deal). A funny story about the difference between guys like Aries, Gargano or Tommaso Ciampa is that at least until they officially signed, Gargano & Ciampa were on per-show deals and not contracts (that has changed) but they got to wrestle the way they wanted so did really well at the house shows. The guys who trained in Orlando were mad, not at them, but at the idea they are taught to wrestle a style that doesn’t get over as much as the style they were wrestling, but they are allowed to wrestle a style the Orlando guys are taught is wrong and then it gets over

This is per someone that has a source on the writing team:

Undertaker vs. Kevin Owens was planned for AT&T Stadium as of late 2015. So why was it canceled, especially with all the injuries?

The answer is right there - all of the injuries. With Cena, Rollins, Sting, Orton, and D-Bry all unavailable, Vince wanted another already established name for drawing purposes in the big 3 matches. Hence, Shane's return and getting the spot against Taker.

The silver lining: per the same party, despite Dave's reporting/speculation, Braun Strowman vs. Undertaker "was never on the table."

We have received some of the advertising for one leg of the tour. It's not specified if it's a RAW-branded show or a SmackDown one, however here is the line-up that is currently scheduled for several events: WWE Champion Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt, WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz vs. Cesaro and Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles.

As always, the card is subject to change and titles are always changing. However, WWE has most of the decisions made regarding the rosters for RAW and SmackDown, so it appears that at least one side will have Ambrose, Wyatt, Orton, Styles, Miz and Cesaro.

^ I saw that ppv live as it happened. It was awesome. I was cheering Punk as if I was a mark. I wasn't there btw, I saw it on tv. Too bad they had Punk come back a week later and kill the whole thing.

Official rules for the WWE Draft, per wwe.com:
With this Tuesday's WWE Draft on the premiere of SmackDown Live on USA Network fast approaching, WWE.com answers the biggest questions of the WWE Universe with a breakdown of the official rules, regulations and procedures for one of the biggest nights in WWE history — including a major update that will change the face of NXT as well.

The rules for the WWE Draft are as follows:

- Raw has the first overall pick
- Since SmackDown Live is a two-hour show and Raw is three hours, for every two picks SmackDown Live receives, Raw will receive three picks
- Tag teams count as one pick unless a Commissioner/General Manager specifically only wants one member of the team
- Six draft picks will be made off the NXT roster

- The list of current WWE Superstars eligible for the WWE Draft will be as follows:

Male Superstars

AJ Styles

NY doesn't license pro wrestlers just promoters. This would be the loophole for Lesnar to be available for SummerSlam no matter what USADA decides.

Craig Reeves of the BOARD takes a brutal reality, but still hopeful, look at the brand split.

Yes, the site looks unfinished and formatted like a dime-a-dozen blog. That won't be the case for much longer.

With Ambrose beating Rollins clean tonight, this is my predicted SummerSlam card.

Tag Titles Match
The New Day vs. Enzo & Cass

Finn Balor vs. Chris Jericho

Women's Title Match
Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks

Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens

John Cena vs. AJ Styles

Seth Rollins vs. Triple H

Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Orton

WWE Title Match
Dean Ambrose vs. Roman Reigns

This is only the PPV portion. I'm sure there will be a preshow match or 2, likely Natayla vs. Lynch and one of the midcard titles (assuming Angle doesn't return for Rusev which I can't help but feel is a slight possibility.) Wyatt is the odd one out of Vince's favorite toys, as are many other talented roster members. This is the price of having a log-jam of a combined roster along with part-time special attractions; the undercard guys on the outside looking in will get their chance on the brand-exclusive PPV events.

Here are the results of the WWE Draft. Of note, the 6 NXT Picks were Finn Balor (RAW), American Alpha (SmackDown), Nia Jax (RAW), Alexa Bliss (SmackDown), Mojo Rawley (SmackDown), & Carmella (SmackDown). Also, Heath Slater went un-drafted for some reason...

Image

I think the big takeaway is that SmackDown, for the most part, got the shaft here. Despite the fact that they got Ambrose, Styles, Cena, and Orton, the rest of their undercard looks pretty grim. Guys like Bray Wyatt, Baron Corbin, Dolph Ziggler, & Alberto Del Rio aren't interesting at all. SmackDown did get some arguably solid picks in the Supplemental Draft (aka the picks that were shown on the WWE Network) with The Usos, Kalisto, Apollo Crews, & The Vaudevillains. The RAW undercard (both singles & tag teams) has the potential to be fantastic, with the likes of Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Cesaro, Rusev, The New Day, The Club, Neville, Sheamus, and....I guess Chris Jericho.

Some further notes:

- The RAW Women's Division has Charlotte (WWE Women's Champion), Sasha Banks, Nia Jax, Paige, Summer Rae, Alicia Fox, & Dana Brooke. SmackDown's Women's Division has Becky Lynch, Natalya, Naomi, Alexa Bliss, Eva Marie & Carmella.

- The RAW Tag Team Division has The New Day, Enzo & Cass, The Club, The Dudley Boyz, The Golden Truth, & The Shining Stars. SmackDown's Tag Team Division has American Alpha, The Usos, The Hype Bros, The Vaudevillains, The Ascension, & Breezango.

- Braun Strowman was drafted by himself to RAW, so it looks like his singles push could potentially be coming....

SmackDown not being as deep is legit the opportunity to rejuvenate Ziggler and Alberto.

Update on the announce teams:

- RAW will be Michael Cole, Corey Graves, & Byron Saxton
- SmackDown will be Mauro Ranallo, JBL, & David Otunga

For the "C" shows, SuperStars (RAW) will have Tom Phillips & Corey Graves, while Main Event (SmackDown) will have Phillips & Otunga.

Such a bad idea to split both the tag and women's divisions. Of course SD gets the short end of the stick each time with basically American Alpha, the Usos who are stale as fuck, and every jobber team imaginable + Becky, Natalya, Naomi who isn't any good, Bliss and Carmella who are pretty green, and Eva Marie who still exists apparently.

At least NXT got rid of Balor and Jax, so that's good.
