It does, Im not too familiar with Athena, but the other three are really good.
Im hoping Veda wins.
Athena is one of the better women's wrestlers out there. She did have a brief stint with ROH during 2013.

As far as the winner, I think Veda could take it, so that would mean both her & Josh Alexander will have titles (since they're now a pair in AIW).

Theres that, and I think that this year is gonna be her breakout year. She's already won the FWE Womens Championship. I can see her adding one or two more this year.

I'm thinking I might finally give AIW a try since it's only about 2 and a half hours away.

They're a pretty good wrestling company. They have The Young Bucks on their show in a few weeks so I'm sure that'll be fun.

Oof. This years JLIT is seriously getting hurt by PWGs DDT4. No Gargano, Page, Alexander.

Nice to see Chase getting more chances.

Chase Owens has been pulled by NWA, he's doing a New Japan tour at the time (obviously, he's a NWA talent).

Best of the Super Juniors starts that weekend (if I recall correctly) so that's probably the reason why. Owens has been replaced by Tyler Thomas. In addition to that, here are the final entrants into the 2015 JT Lightning Invitational:

- AIW Intense Champion Davey Vega
- Alex Daniels
- 2 Cold Scorpio

Definitely agree. I imagine those three would have been in the tournament for sure.

Samoa Joe has been booked for Night 2 of the 2015 JT Lightning Invitational.

This is really interesting, since it's been known for some time that Joe wasn't taking bookings past April, and this one is Memorial Day Weekend in late May.

AIW now has an on-demand service:

Much like SMASH Wrestling's on-demand service, AIW's on-demand service costs $7.99 a month.

I'm going to be there (first AIW card. Knew enough of the ROH guys to make the drive) Will let you know Sunday at some point. (Sadly, going to be missing IWC's Super Indy Tournament yet again this year. Sounded like a good card, too). But at least I'll get day 2 of this one. Day 1 doesn't sound anywhere near as compelling.

So just got back from night 2 of JLIT which clocked in at a little over 4 hours. Gargano vs Joe was good, though not spectacular. The unannounced match of Josh Alexander vs Ethan Page was probably the best match of the night, but not that long. Then again, they wrestled 2 matches in Cali last night, then 2 here (they apparently wrestled on the GNO card earlier in the day as well), so that can be forgiven.

All of the matches were good, and some very good, except the comedy ones. The Dick Justice vs. Nightmare Freddy was a total waste of time. The FBI reunion did have a high point as, at last, when the crowd started chanting 'where's our pizza', Guido ran over to the concession stand, grabbed one of pizzas there, then he and Smothers began throwing the pieces to the audience. Also when the FBI came out Guido asked Smothers where his Italian gear was (Smothers came out with his usual Confederate flag gear) Smothers replied candidly, "I've put on 50 pounds and it doesn't fit me anymore."

Nick Gage has a loud following. Stunned me, to be honest.

'Hot Sauce' Tracy Williams impressed me the most of the guys in the tournament I'd never seen. He did some good arm work on both Athena and Rowe. 2 Cold Scorpio is not what he once was, but still moves well for someone in that is about to hit 50.

2 plus hour drive each way was worth it. Would actually have preferred if it hadn't gone that long as it became a bit of an endurancefest at the end, but tournaments can be like that.
