Unfortunately, TK Cooper has pulled out of BOLA due to an ankle injury. Replacing him is Joey Janela! Janela will wrestle Sammy Guevara in the tournament. The status of the SPPT/Young Bucks match is unknown at the time of this writing.

UPDATE: The Bucks will not be at N1 of BOLA. The PWG account said: The Young Bucks will no longer be on N1 of BOLA. I hope to reschedule their match with SPPT at a future show when TK Cooper is healed up

So it's sucky / weird that they didn't just add the Bucks to the other Night 1 tag match, right?

Meltzer says that The Chosen Bros. vs. Dijak/Lee was the MOTN at BOLA Night One. Arrrgh! I wish I could have seen this live.

Feels like a Ricochet win. Chuck gets his lifetime achievement award beating ZSJ, but considering he only wrestled once over BOLA weekend and is only scheduled for Night Two, it doesn't seem like he's being featured as champion. Considering the rumor mill has Ricochet headed for WWE soonish, it would make sense for him to get his own lifetime achievement award reign. Considering Ricochet is more highly rated than Chuck, and his time is probably limited, I am thinking he'll pick up the belt here to get as much out of his run as possible.

Eh, I don't know. I can see Chuckie T beating Ricochet. It'd be a shock, for sure, much like Taylor beating ZSJ, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them continuing that.

Ricochet being the only 2x BOLA Winner seems like a lifetime achievement award in of itself. Chuck losing the title in his first defense would undo his entire story to the title imo

Good point about being the first two time winner. I don't see why Chuck losing the belt quick would take away from his title win though. Chuck moving his way up the card to his first title shot was a story they spent over a year on, then after his loss they spent six months building to the rematch. That's a complete story, and anything moving forward is a bonus for Chuck, imo.

I don't think Chuck losing the title hurts him at all. With Chuck it was more about the chase, kind of like when Homicide was chasing Danielson for the ROH World title. Feel good moment, but not a long term champion.

Also Keith Lee vs Matt Riddle. Probably has happened in EVOLVE, but it's new to me!

Honestly had no idea that PWG even announced their next shows, and the lineups, until about an hour ago.

I'm just glad they aren't waiting until December to run their first post BOLA show this year. Strange to see such a difference in talent rosters though. No Marty, Bucks, ZSJ, Trent, Sydal or Chuck on Night One. No Riddle, Keith Lee, Trevor Lee, Cobb, Guevara, Fenix or Flamita on Night Two.

Night One has an updated card. Keith Lee now wrestles Jonah Rock instead of Matt Riddle, Flamita vs. Sammy Guevara vs Rey Horus vs. REY FENIX is now a triple threat with REY FENIX removed, and PENTA EL ZERO M has been added to night one, so the new main event is The Lucha Bros vs. The Chosen Bros for the PWG World Tag Team Titles!!

No Travis Banks this weekend, visa issues. Hoping they'll book a replacement, but based on how they've handled similar situations this year I'm not optimistic.

They got Brian Cage to fill in Friday night, so at least Night One had seven matches. Night Two only had the six.

Eventful weekend, in addition to the changes to the title pictures, sounds like Walter and ZSJ had a great match last night on par with Lee / Dijak from BOLA.

Chuck Taylor won the belt back from Ricochet in a Guerilla Warfare match. I'm surprised, thought Chuck's win over ZSJ was a lifetime achievement thank you, but I guess not.

Thatcher made his return, teaming with WALTER against Cobb and Riddle.

Fred Yehi and David Starr made their debut against one another.

Other than that, mostly normal card. Keith Lee vs ZSJ, Marty vs Trent, etc. I think Mystery Vortex is a great idea, wish PWG used it more creatively. I like what they did last time with one off returns for Candice and ACH. Would like to see them do more of that with guys like Joey, Sky, Tornado (I think I heard he's wrestling again) etc. Maybe next time.

David Starr in PWG sounds like a great thing.
