You referring to the TNA stuff? Yeah it's legal, the Youtube Channel (TNA wrestling PLUS) is legit (The $4.99 subscription message is on there). I guess they have a few show from '06 & '07 viewable for free as "free samples" of sorts. All the others can be viewable if you subscribe.

Didn't notice that these Wrestling Is... Shows are $5 a piece, I'm starting to grow tired of all this Chikara hype now and if it is indeed dead for the time being, what shows would you recommend watching, best show overall?

You mean for the "Wrestling is..." Promotions? Definitely get Pop, which is the first Wrestling is Art Show (Best "Wrestling is..." Show I've seen). The Allentown Potassium Massacre from Wrestling is Fun! has a great six man main event (the other Wrestling is Fun! shows I've reviewed are fine as well). I'd also recommend any of the Wrestling is Respect shows from this year. Actually looking forward to seeing their Quest to be Best show that was held last Sunday when Smart Mark Video releases it.

I've never really been able to get into Chikara. There's been some stuff I have enjoyed, but overall I just don't find that a lot of it is for me. I can appreciate what Quack was going for, and it certainly had its audience. I could just never maintain a strong interest in it.

How similar is this Wrestling Is... stuff to Chikara? Are there any that are more/less similar to Chikara?

It's similar to an extent. All of them are run by Mike Quackenbush (who owns CHIKARA), uses the same personal (Gavin Loudspeaker, Bryce Remsburg & other CHIKARA referees, Leonard F Chikarason), and most of the same talent, which varies from promotion-to-promotion, as in some guys appear in certain promotions but don't in others.
