Re: The TNA Thread
Reading the situation together in that timeline as well knowing the other tit bits that have occurred during the recent period I am really surprised that the Fight Network really want to invest and keep TNA around. Considering how far TNA is in a hole and how much legal wrangling will likely be needed over the next month of so if Corgan is to continue with the Lawsuit it seems to me it would be best to burn it to the ground and try to rise again from the burning ashes if their is enough demand for it. There must be a lot of value or numbers that the Fight Network see's a huge positive for them to such supporters of the brand even with the "frightening apsects of the financial side that is currently being covered up"
Personally if I were Sinclair I would see this as the perfect opportunity to create a regular TV market in the UK and try to pick up there Challenge TV broadcast. Although I certainly would try to have a slightly different deal considering the airing time and also the availability of PPV's soon after they have aired in America for free.

Yet another lawsuit filed against TNA was by Bankdirect Capital Finance, LLC which filed a lawsuit asking for $207,612.29 plus late charges, interest and attorney feels against TNA Entertainment LLC on 9/29 in Circuit Court in Cook County, Illinois. On November 30, 2015, BankDirect entertained in an agreement where it would pay TNA $400,146.00 so TNA could pay certain insurance premiums and TNA agreed to make ten monthly payments of $41,032.45 with the first payment on November 13, 2015. As of the time of the suit, TNA had paid nearly half but still was $207,612.29 behind.

So
Billy Corgan is suing them
Eric Bischoff is suing them
American Express Travel Related Services Companies is suing them
Audience of One Production Company is suing them
Bankdirect Captial Finance is suing them
The State of Tennessee issued a tax lien against them
Anthem (Fight Network) is owed money and is a co-owner, also apparently owns some of the library
Billy Corgan is owed money and is a co-owner
Aroluxe is owed money and is a co-owner
That we know of.

Re: The TNA Thread
So Dixie Carter & Billy Corgan were in court today. Here are various articles & updates on the day's proceedings (the hearing was live tweeted, and a Storify chronicling the tweets from the hearing is included in the WO/F4W article):

Also, the next set of TV Tapings have apparently been postponed due to a "lack of funds":

Re: The TNA Thread
So essentially, the gist of the current situation is that the judge is deciding the case on Monday, which (I think) basically means that the company will either go to Billy Corgan (and Dixie Carter will be out), or Anthem will become majority ownership, with Dixie still having a small share of the company (meaning that Corgan will be out). I'm pretty sure that's where things stand as of now, but the bottom line is that Halloween is Judgement Day for TNA.

Re: The TNA Thread
The UK deal was one of their only sources of revenue. If the India deal falls through they're probably toast in short order.

Maybe this is a chance for ROH to pick up a UK TV deal.

You say that, but Dixie/Aroluxe/Anthem won out over Billy, and Anthem is putting a lot money into TNA....Brada wrote:They are done. The fat lady is warming up.

Dixie surpassed Russo for greatest cockroach in wrestling history. Russo at least has a boom period to always pinpoint when poorly attempting to deflect criticism.
