Samoa Joe cryptic/non-cryptic tweet:
"Very reflective after this past show. At the risk of sounding unintentionally cryptic, I am hopeful for what the future holds."

Re: The TNA Thread
TNA Talents have already begun to find work on the independent scene.
The Wolves have been signed for AAW A Monster's Rage on November 7th, while Ethan Carter III vs. Johnny Gargano has been announced for AIW's Hell On Earth X on November 28th.

Re: The TNA Thread
These guys need to find work. With TNA not running any shows until late January, you can't blame them at all.

Indeed.
Enjoyed this week's Impact! Dig what they've done with EY's character actually.

Meltzer:
Gaburick is in Nashville today.
That said, most of the story [Wrestling Inc reporting a TV deal] is not inaccurate. But it's not a story yet.
PWInsider should be careful about being used for denials on these things. If the deal falls through, they are right. If it doesn't, it'll look bad in a week or two.

Wasn't it said that there was a big announcement coming last week (last Friday, I believe) that ended up never happening?supersonic wrote:Meltzer:

Re: The TNA Thread
It was expected but it's TNA, of course there turned out to be nothing.
Re: The TNA Thread
In fairness, TNA hasn't said anything about an announcement on the TV deal or a "shocking" free agent signing. This is all based on reports from wrestling sites who aren't in the know.
In fact, TNA and Dixie Carter have been pretty quiet the last several weeks, minus the occasional "stay tuned" to questions from fans on social media on when a TV deal will be announced.

Re: The TNA Thread
They've been talking about an "announcement" for some time now. We've gotten dates for when "something" was to be announced, and then they pass with no news or announcements of any kind.ShaunSperling wrote:When is a new TNA deal expected to be announced, if at all?

They = dirtsheets, not TNA.

At this point, it doesn't matter. It's November 3rd. STILL no TV Deal. The clock is ticking...Thelone wrote:They = dirtsheets, not TNA.

Re: The TNA Thread
The clock is ticking so close that TNA will have to take whatever Spike offers.
Tomato cans don't stand a chance.

And I agree, but people need to realize that TNA isn't hyping some big announcement, the dirtsheets are.DXvsNWO1994 wrote:At this point, it doesn't matter. It's November 3rd. STILL no TV Deal. The clock is ticking...

If Spike offers anything. Still unclear whether they dropped TNA altogether or just couldn't come to terms.GardenStateSaint wrote:The clock is ticking so close that TNA will have to take whatever Spike offers.
