I couldn't take that 17 promo seriously. With the light bulb above his head it looked like he had an idea.

Just wanted to pop in here and ask how anyone can support this piece of shit company? Seriously?

How the fuck can people who pay for wrestling sit there and watch a company where there's barely any wrestling. Instead lets play charaders and thumb wrestle! If tickets cost $5 I'd accept it. Quack is a fucking piece of shit. Well documented. Fuck him. Fuck CHIKARA. Biggest piece of shit in the industry.

Rant over.

Well that escalated quickly. But to answer your question it's because we think they have fun characters and mostly good wrestling? As for Quack being a jerk, wow a wrestling promoter is shady, color me surprised.

It's not personally my cup of tea, but it's just a genre of wrestling. You seem to love strong style. Some love deathmatch wrestling. Some love comic book, over the top fun that is CHIKARA. Who are you to tell them what they should and shouldn't like.

I was genuinely just curious how somebody could actually enjoy it. I've felt this way about CHIKARA for years...I guess I just don't get it.

And if you don't get it, that's fair enough. Doesn't mean others can't. I don't get ballet, but I don't rage about how some people can enjoy it. Complaining is fine, it's expected on forums, but you did it in a very aggressive way towards those who do enjoy it. If it wasn't intended that way, then fair enough, but by the responses I know I'm not the only one who perceived it that way.

I'm not big fan of Chikara, but I have a deep respect for it. The company has a fucking identity to it and generally understands its audience. I've enjoyed the small sample I've seen but could never find myself being addicted to it.

Oh yeah SMV has the three shows from last month available to purchase. For now I'm sticking with one a month.
