I have a feeling his promotion won't have heels or babyfaces. Heels and babyfaces are passe. People cheer for whoever they think is compelling(ie ROH fans liking Steen even though he was supposed to be a heel).

"What we're going to deliver is a multi-platform, innovative brand that will engage fans in ways they've never experienced. It will provide a fresh perspective inside the business that fans have been clamoring for."
I'd rather just have good, old-school wrestling.
Success or failure will depend on the roster and booking. So until that's proven it's just another indie fed and I'm not going to have much interest in watching.

I'm hoping it's just a really well polished, high production value, alternative, promotion with emphasis on wrestling, with an exciting roster, logical booking and exciting match ups. I really hope it focuses on things that the WWE isn't doing well, as that's the only way it's going to succeed, rather than trying to imitate it.

In short, I want what I want from any wrestling promotion, for it to be good.

Looking at twitter, Jarrett has been meeting with:

Beautiful People
Jay Lethal
Mickie James
Bushwacker Luke
Carlito
Brooke Tessmacher
Kevin Nash
Bad Influence

Interesting assortment there, with some obviously more likely roster members than others, and also some obviously a lot more appealing than others.

There's supposed to be some sort of announcement coming out today.

He talked to Lance Archer and Elijah Burke too.
According to this list, It seems like he just want to recreate TNA with another name...

Well to be fair, he did create TNA, and it sounds like Dixie then took it in a direction he wasn't a fan of, so him wanting to make a TNAesque company but in the way things "should" have been, then more power to him.

Maybe he's just talking with friends at shows that he's on?

Sure, but then why tweet them out on GFW twitter page.

Some of them are probably red herrings, but I assume a few will end up in GFW.

Announcement was that they're teaming up with some reality TV producer.

How anticlimactic.

Seems like he wants to recreate TNA announcements too.

They got an article in the Hollywoodreporter. I have no idea how they managed this. That's the bigger story here.

I think the important question should be what the roster will look like. All this publicly won't mean anything if they don't have the talent.

Join the force? jesus, I suddenly feel like I'm at comic con.

I don't want to be a downer but I'm not overly optomistic. Let's remember what TNA looked like before Vince Russo, Dixie Carter, Hulk Hogan, and Eric Bischoff even got involved.

Look at the first two shows, we got guys dressed up like dongs, hardcore dwarfs, lingerie battle royals, knock off royal rumble's, guys pretending to be Elvis despite being asian, samoan, and whatever Jorge Estrada is. We also got a hayseed tag team that may or may not been engaging in insest with their female manager relative, an fat Rikishi knockoff who broke the ring, ect.

We also got one very good X Division 4 way round robin match but that's alot of crap to go through to get to the good.

The people Jarrett is possibly talking to isn't exactly setting my world of fire either.

At this point i'm more excited about HOH's double shot in New York and Philly and their LA debut than anything else.

What was with that video, using Rocky audio and black and white footage of Jarrett framing himself as the ultimate underdog.

It would be nice if this time around Jarrett was more influenced by his father than Russo but again i'm not hopeful.

The one bright spot was Jarrett talking to Bushwacker Luke as the only use Luke would have in 2014 is as a booker. He did have what I heard was a good booking run in Peurto Rico so that could be something to keep an eye on.

Just my thoughts, early on.

So it looks like Global Force will be having a working relationship with AAA (Triple A) in Mexico.

Apparently the GFW Twitter Account asked people to do a Fantasy Draft of which five wrestlers they would bring in if they were the Global Force Wrestling GM. I've seen a lot of people saying Prince Devitt (myself included).
