Same thing I said with the slap/forearm sequences. He'll sell a shot after taking some and just completely collapse like he's dead.
I do agree that his matches are getting a bit repetitive, but I think that'll change in G1 since he'll be working with Tanahashi and Nakamura. I'm very stoked for Shibata/Ishii at G1.
And Davey is the king of getting suplexed and no selling it, to do the same spot. Same thing with his like no-sell stomp spot that he always uses.

That's a really really good non-Puro list. only thing that I disagree with is Jay/Cole. Just not a unprotected chair shots type of guy and Hardy fucked up the finish. Finish was soooooooooooo bad.

Yeah, I had it at around ****1/2, but the finish really brought it down.
My NJPW watching is so far behind. I'm slowly catching up, and may catch up completely by the end of my Summer holidays, so maybe I'll be able to start adding some Japanese stuff to that list too. Haven't seen any 2014 PWG stuff either yet, but I plan to.

Nothing in PWG in 2014 has been must see except the Bucks IMO. It's been a pretty bad year.

Yeah, no doubt in my mind. Forgot to mention Lee/Alexander/Everett is must see from 2014 too.
I think the Eleven card has some MOTYC on it...but the card is so hit and miss. Bucks vs Candice and Joey Guerrilla Warfare should be fantastic though.

Even before that, though, his selling was great. After Day 1, he got a lot better. I still think people have been WAY overrating his matches, but I think people have been overrating a lot of the G1 matches.
