Re: Game Changer Wrestling Thread
Biggest show in GCW History, when they debut at Hammerstein Ballroom. Quite a packed card. Official : GCW Championship Moxley vs. Homicide ROH Championship - Jonathan Gresham vs. Blake Christian Team Gringo (Gringo Loco, Flamita , Arez) vs. Team Bandido (Bandido, Laredo Kid, ASF) Allie Katch vs. Rub...

Re: The WWE Thread
I'll admit it... i still watch/follow WWE. (Long ramble...sorry) While i dislike the same of what many others do about the WWE (stale booking, repetitive matches; 3 hours Raw wtf, bigger guys getting pushes, cutting 100+ people) I'm not going to waste my time; stating how WWE needs to change. They ...

Re: Random ROH Thoughts Thread
Bandido lost (non-title match?) to Blake Christian at some GCW event. Blake Christian is challenging Jonathan Gresham for ROH title at The WRLD On GCW. Whoever walks out of the Hammerstein Ballroom/NYC with the ROH Championship is the linear champion ... regardless of belt. Terminus is parallel uni...

Re: underrated acts, segments, wrestlers etc from ROHs past
I've been watching some 2007 shows; and Sweet and Sour Larry Sweeney stuff was so great. It's a shame he passed at such a young age. He could have been a huge star in the business. Another one; that comes to mind; was Brent Albright. Seemed like he was a great fit for ROH; and started gaining some m...

Re: Supercard Of Honor 2022 - April 1st - Discussion
No anniversary show ? What i think they will do, or should do; is have supercard; then in July/August ; maybe aorund Summerslam or All Out; build your next PPV around the 20th anniversary show. Make a past vs. present show. We'll see though. I'd be surprised they don't try and cash in on that though.

Re: Supercard Of Honor 2022 - April 1st - Discussion
I think nobody cares at this point who the real champ is. Well... I would tend to agree but with the premises of what's going on with the company is more important than the belt. They've given some vague statements; and to be fair; they did say they'd return for supercard the whole time. But the re...

Re: Supercard Of Honor 2022 - April 1st - Discussion
Title vs Title is not the Match I was talking about. Look where it says "will be one of the main events"...next match announced will set the tone of the new era. Hmm; you know something we don't?? Gresham vs. Bandido was pretty predictable. Double main event though... Hmm Only other thing...

Re: Terminus Pro Wrestling Thread
Overall the first Terminus event was a solid wrestling show. Believe the run time was just under 2 hours and 30 minutes. The show featured ROH, Impact, and AEW talent. A more concentrated effort on in ring work, but not necessarily more so; than say ROH. While putting emphasis on the rules; it didn’...

Some Quick thoughts on GCW – Say you will – Chicago 6 Way Scramble - Dante Leon vs Dark Sheik vs Ninja Mack vs Nick Wayne vs Gringo Loco - 3.5 Another Fun Scramble match. Sloppy but fun. Tony Deppen vs Mike Bailey 4.00 – 4.25 - GCW doesn’t wait to bring the heat. Great match here. Love to see more o...

Re: Game Changer Wrestling Thread
Last night was interesting to say the least at GCW – Most Notorious in Detroit. First time watching a full GCW show; first time attending live. They certainly have some “special sauce” that other companies aren’t capturing. Can’t quite put my finger it; but I assume it’s a mix of factors. (Music/Vib...

Re: Random ROH Thoughts Thread
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the current plan with ROH is to focus solely on the men’s world title (held by both Gresham and Bandido), the women’s title and the tag team titles (held by the Briscoes). The pure title (currently held by Josh Woods), the TV title (held by Rhett Titus...

Re: ALL PURPOSE CONTRACT STATUS/POTENTIAL DEPARTURES THREAD
Looks like PCO has signed with Impact officially , and is allowed to work indies as long as it doesn't interfere with impact tapings.
Brody King supposedly signed with AEW a while ago.

Re: Random ROH Thoughts Thread
Tracking AEW said they wouldn’t run mania weekend, but nothing to say their talent couldn’t. I wouldn’t bet on FTR, but it could happen. I could be wrong but I’ve thought AEW talent has already worked mania weekend shows. Supposedly ROH has been using the tightest Covid protocols, so maybe Danielso...

Re: Random ROH Thoughts Thread
This company/SBG from the very get go has been brand before individual. Also, everyone at WWE & AEW are off limits, Impact is running their own show opposite. NJPW is as well. Let's pretend they spend out of pocket, who is going motivate someone to drive 45 minutes or more depending on traffic ...

Re: Random ROH Thoughts Thread
The whole point of a hiatus was to lower costs. They aren't gonna over spend to bring someone in to a show with heavy competition that's virtually guaranteed to lose a shit ton of money. While I agree the whole point is to lower cost, bringing in a big name for one match cost a hell of a lot less, ...

Re: Random ROH Thoughts Thread
That building is where AEW runs. Jesus. It is Mania weekend, and maybe ROH has some special guest up their sleeves. The odd thing is; like technically they have no one under contract; so they should probably announce a few names locked in for the event and maybe a match or two; before tickets go on...
