Re: Official All-Star Extravaganza V Thread

If it was a Bennett Botch...I have no idea how he expects to go anywhere in ROH after that. Mistakes happen. True but if you don't know how to do a safe piledriver, then you shouldn't do it at all. Simple as that. I hear ya, Im not debating it. Bennett has used the piledriver in the past and has be...

Nope. Ring of Honor World Title Tournament- First Round Match Roderick Strong def World TV Champion Matt Taven with a sick kick then straight into the suplex backbacker Pretty clear signal here and two choices : - Taven turns face with the belt and maybe his run will finally start - Taven lose the ...

Re: Official All-Star Extravaganza V Thread

I just don't see why they'd want to kill the crowd. Our correspondent said the Strong/Taven match suffered because of it due to the crowd being shaken from the incident. If it isn't a work I hope BJ is okay, if it is a work I'll be interested to see how they have the Michael Bennett character play ...

Either way :) If it ends up being a serious situation then we of course wish BJ well. No harm no foul.

Re: Official All-Star Extravaganza V Thread

Because of the 15 minutes thing.. this is a huge buzzkiller for the crowd. Glad Strong won. ROH has taken spots like this in the past and taken a long time to take guys to the back. And if this was planned, wouldn't you do it in the same way? I dont see the time as any indication that it's real. I ...

Re: Official All-Star Extravaganza V Thread

Very unlikely the incident is a work. It is said to have taken them 15 minutes to stretcher BJ to the back and those fifteen minutes has killed what was an extremely hot crowd. There were no "You Killed BJ!" chants or anything as many were genuinely afraid BJ was hurt and seems that way, ...

Arda Ocal just tweeted, "BJ Whitmer was conscious, wiggling his fingers, gave a thumbs up while stretchered out. Is being taken to hospital." (doesn't mean it's real)

Ring of Honor World Title Tournament- First Round Match Michael Bennett vs. BJ Whitmer was thrown out after Bennett pildrove Whitmer on the apron and BJ needed immediate attention. Re: Official All-Star Extravaganza V Thread

Doing results for WrestleEnigma.com and our live correspondent isn't entirely sure but his estimate for attendance is somewhere between 2,000 and 3,000, as a majority of the arena is full but one section is closed off. That sounds about right given the estimates some said the show was set up for. I...

Not trying to go all insider on you, but Meltzer said it wasn't expensive to book this venue...so that probably makes room for more talent. I wouldn't worry.
I read that too which makes me feel a little relieved.
