The stream didn't work, but the show wasn't that great anyway.

Re: So is it safe to say the old ROH is gone?
ROH knew they were going in a direction that their core wouldn't appreciate when they removed the forum.

Re: So is it safe to say the old ROH is gone?
think the next indy promotion to strike it big is going to focus on good story-lines. It's all about good writing. I think there is truth to what you wrote. But without good characters a story will always fall short, and in wrestling a good match has to pay off the ending. Basically what your sayin...

Re: So is it safe to say the old ROH is gone?
ROH is an empty shell of itself, I don't mean that in the most dramatic sense, but it has no spirit, no direction, no calling card, no style, no reason for a fan to be fanatical. No reason for a fan to be fanatical, exactly. I do not attend ROH shows anymore and lose my s*** like I used to. The pro...

Re: So is it safe to say the old ROH is gone?
Its getting to the point where I wish ROH fans would start putting more of their money into PWG. Those guys have been giving it their all show after show, constantly trying to do whatever it takes to send the crowd into a state of bliss. That roster deserves sooo much more respect and recognition fo...

I think so to. CZW, Chikara, and DGUSA/Evolve all working together for wrestlemania, so they may indeed build something up.

Re: DGUSA/EVOLVE Thread
DGUSA is actually a pretty good option for a wrestling career as they build talent better then ROH in my opinion. Not only that but you get major international experience and a larger group of veteran wrestlers to test your skills against. Yamato, Shingo, Mochizuki, Susumu, Yoshino, Cima, etc. are a...

Re: DGUSA/EVOLVE Thread
Absolutely. There is no excuse. My advice is to buy the DGUSA shows off highspots because they are on top of shipping unlike DGUSA.tv.LygerFan wrote:Their turnaround time and shipping is really sad for a company operating an internet business in 2012.

Re: DGUSA/EVOLVE Thread
Well part of it may be the income coming in can't equal the cost of DVD sales. It's frustrating to say the least, but maybe this is the model that's allowing the most room for profit? I guess, but at the same time it effectively turned me off the product. That along with a couple other issues anywa...

Shingo vs. Low Ki is the kind of match that would get me back into DGUSA.

Re: DVD production in 2012
If you Riped the DVD you could probably get inside and see if the footage is hidden somewhere. Pretty big mistake on their part. I hate how ROH's response is always "its not a big deal though".

Re: Something I've noticed about the ROH live crowd.
The last toronto show (Steen vs. Davey) was the biggest crowd in that arena based on the six shows I've gone to. Bigger then death before dishonor by fair margin (Davey vs. Black).
