Disagree. They're (Davey & Eddie) both floundering in singles right now. I think they need the tag division and the tag division desperately need them right now.Marketh. wrote:Still feels too soon. Would rather two singles for now.

I think Raw is currently at its worst ever, I don't think I'll be watching again for a long, long time.

Re: Lethal & Rhino Collide At Final Battle!
I don't get all the praise for Thomas, he just seems to do an odd mix of martial arts kicks without any rhyme or reason.

Re: Lethal & Rhino Collide At Final Battle!
if this is the last we see of Rhino I'm ok with that. Otherwise bad booking decisions, Lethal vs TD Thomas would have been a better choice: Lethal vs Thomas could have been like Lethal vs Low Ki at midnight Express reunion: the young rookie taking the veteran to the limit and producing a fine match...

Re: Future of roh
No. A failure means GBH was a one-off and we go back to the routine. A success means another step in the right direction and an increase in consistency. I don't think one show changes as much as people think, in terms of affecting the company's future. Yeah, I don't think one show will change the l...

No, but in terms of a new direction this show could truly be the start of a new era.

Lynn's retirement match is in his hometown Minneapolis on March 23rd 2013, the 25th Anniversary of his wrestling career. Heavy on Wrestling is promoting the show called "Thank You, Jerry".Ladrao12 wrote:I thought Lynn was retiring at the end of the year?

Re: WWE looking to acquire El Generico?
So if Claudio were to be in an elaborate storyline with idk...let's say Kofi Kingston and they were having really good matches every time out and great back-and-forth promos but he never won a single title in his run, he would be considered a success? I guess we'll agree to disagree since that logi...

Re: WWE looking to acquire El Generico?
He still is a champion, gimmicks aside. All of the gimmicks used today are recycled in some way, shape or form so to say that he's "stuck with a generic foreigner gimmick" is irrelevant. In your estimation I'm assuming, the only way to be a success is to be WWE Champion? The guy has been ...

Re: WWE looking to acquire El Generico?
This mindset of "ROH guys aren't used properly in WWE" when we hear these rumors need to go. Everyone said Danielson, Black, Claudio, etc. wouldn't be used right and they've all become successful (Tyler will be a star in WWE when he gets off NXT). Why can't Generico be successful? Because...

It isn't his retirement match by the way if that's what you were saying. I would love a Lynn/Storm match but it will probably be Bennett.

Yes. I actually think the fans will enjoy it, it's great to have a match like this now and then. RD Evans is hilarious in Chikara so it'll definitely be somewhat enjoyable.

Re: WWE looking to acquire El Generico?
In my mind Generico wins at FB and goes on to have a 6 months or so reign. If Generico does get signed I get the feeling he'll be used terribly anyway so hopefully this is just a rumour and nothing more.

Re: Why does Adam Cole have little to no promo time?
Cole should absolutely have much more promo time in ROH right now, he's criminally underused in that regard. But yes, back on topic. I've seen the video's and I'd agree with this whole thread. I can't wait for PWG's next show in a few weeks time. So far they've only anounced the main event and a lis...

Re: Kevin Steen?
"Steen has had too many hardcore matches" Uhhhh Am I the only one that realizes this is a bs statement? Steen hasn't had as many hardcore matches since his return as people think, this is skewed because the few he has had were all in a short amount of time. He's had plenty of regular sing...

Re: Kevin Steen?
Obviously not true but Steen's style over the last year has been counterproductive in fighting the thought that fat guys can't wrestler because he's hardly wrestled. And although I very excited about Ladder War, I'm afraid matches like GBH will be few and far in between between now and that hardcor...

Re: Kevin Steen?
His match against Elgin at Glory by Honor should dispel any doubts that he's any less of a wrestler than he used to be. It really doesn't matter what he looks like as long as he can deliver in the ring. Andy yeah, that was how Cornette thought that he should be because in Cornette's mind if you aren...
