Re: Random ROH Thoughts Thread

Maybe for the best that he leaves and goes with Bennett, seeing as he was quickly getting lost in the shuffle before joining The Kingdom.

Re: Official Winter Warriors Tour 2016 (Live Events) Thread

What I really like to see is Masada vs. Chris Dickinson . Book it Delirious ! I can't tell for Masada since i never seen him wrestle in ROH, but more Chris Dickinson would be great, i'm a huge fan of him since his very good match against Elgin last year. I would love to see him & Sami Callihan ...

Re: Worst show in history

I recall a lot of distain for Southern Defiance and Northern Aggression. Not the worst shows but I just wanted to remind people those shows happened. The only match I've seen from these two is the 2 hour time limit match from Southern Defiance , which was awesome enough to disqualify that fro...

Re: Top Prospect 2016

I agree plus the fact that ive seen him post stuff about the TPP on his FB. he is usually is pretty solid IMO but it appears he is an acquired taste judging from other peoples feelings about him. I can't speak for his attitude/how he is behind the scenes, but I personally think that Starr has impro...

Re: Official Final Battle 2015: Aftermath TV Tapings Thread

Looks like Bennett & Maria are officially done after tonight. Taven is reportedly under contract until March. I wonder if they know where they are going (TNA would seem to be the favorite to me because I can't see legit WWE interest and I could see Dixie thinking they're a big deal because she ...

Cartoon Dave ‏@DaveMuscarella Roderick Strong wins after a running knee to Stevie's face. Great opener. #WatchROH I would have zero issue with Stevie being used periodically as a vet to put guys over. Though I suppose I'm a tad bias, been a mark for the guy ever since I first started going back and...

Based on how matches went I would guess Lethal, Elgin and reDRagon are sticking around., as they either won or were protected in their losses.
I'd say it's more likely that they're just hoping to work something out with the names in question.

Here's hoping they scrounge up enough to throw Lethal & Red Dragon whatever they want to sign new deals after their performances tonight/giving Lethal the huge clean win.

Re: Random ROH Thoughts Thread

I read the comments about TNA teasing additional programming as likely aimed at Maria (who else would be a candidate for something like that?), so I agree that she and Bennett would be likely ones to leave. I've said it before, but I'd let Maria and Bennett walk in a heartbeat (Taven can go, too) t...

Re: 2nd ROH Champion: Daniels or Xavier

Was there ever any sort of confirmation to the old urban legend that Gabe specifically requested that Xavier intentionally dog-it/phone it in at Unscripted in an attempt to draw heel heat on Xavier from the work rate heavy Ring of Honor crowd?

Re: Official Survival of the Fittest 2015 Thread

I haven't quite caught up on DVDs for 2015 and the current storylines, but isn't Elgin a "free agent" now, working with ROH on a handshake agreement? Why have him win SOTF then? That's the part i don't get. I guess having win it twice is a nice accomplishment, but it would be good to know...

Announcing more than one match (Not counting the Women of Honor matches) less than a week before the show probably would of helped. It's getting to be a bad habit of Ring of Honor. Hopefully there's a big walk up.

Re: 2015 Live Attendance

Wow, these numbers are impressive! Thanks for compiling them. I was at the show in Lockport (had a blast), and I only guesstimated 800, but I'm usually bad at those things. All I know is that the floor was sold out in advance. It's pretty easy to track pre-sales of tickets now when they do the tick...

Re: Elgin now a free agent

It seems unnecessary to re-sign Elgin to any kind of deal. This guy isn't going to show up on NXT tomorrow even for a Rhyno run and his character has been dead for a year and a half in ROH no matter how many hashtags and new leaves they shove down everyone's throat. Just let him go and if he catche...

Re: Random ROH Thoughts Thread

Former Ring of Honor star Michael Elgin has signed a new deal with the company, PWInsider.com has confirmed. Elgin has been soliciting independent bookings via social media so it would appear he is no longer under an exclusive deal but he has signed a new agreement with the company. Well, damn, the...

Re: The deal is done, The Young Bucks have signed with ROH.

I hope this simply means they can just get the Bucks whenever they want them, rather than them being booked for every single show. To me, the Bucks lose their appeal when they're regulars. I can agree with that, to an extent. I'm just hoping that it means that they'll be appearing frequently enough...

Re: The deal is done, The Young Bucks have signed with ROH.

Off the top of my head, this is probably the best actual signing that Ring of Honor has made since originally signing Adam Cole and Kyle years ago. Aside from arguably AJ, The Bucks are probably the biggest draws in Ring of Honor today. As much as people are down on the whole "Delirious three-...
