Re: Official War Of The World '16: Night 2 (TV Tapings) Thre
There are far worse options than running Lethal/Briscoe II as the main event on this year's BITW, as long as they do indeed hold off on the expected "Cole/Bullet Club" fuckery until after the match.

Re: Official Global Wars/War Of The Worlds 2016 Super Thread
For the most part the house show/VODs are typically fun-very good, that's never really been the issue. It's been the PPVs and to a lesser extent the TV that have suffered of late due to booking/timing issues. Which unfortunately for the company's current perception is the product they're putting out...

The Page one however I actually don't hate, as it at least gives him something to do. Well, in theory.

Was about to type the same thing. Transitional champs to The Bucks so we can keep War Machine as babyface challengers sounds about right. (Though I don't foresee any crowd booing The Young Bucks.)kconstangs wrote:Transitional champs. Highly doubt they will be champs after BITW.

Re: Official Global Wars/War Of The Worlds 2016 Super Thread
Weren't people on this board complaining about War Machine not being over just last night? And then they proved people wrong by having a great match, got rewarded with this... I'm not questioning/arguing that. I just seem to recall people on here still saying they weren't over at all on here immedi...

Re: Official Global Wars/War Of The Worlds 2016 Super Thread
Weren't people on this board complaining about War Machine not being over just last night? This really isn't even in reference to the outrage over the spoiler from tonight's show, but more genuine puzzlement as I'm seeing people on Twitter calling the match War Machine had last night "A star ma...

Re: Official Global Wars/War Of The Worlds 2016 Super Thread
It's really baffling to me how some people on this forum really will just defend every single thing that ROH does. Change the forum to ROHMecca. It's funny you say that, because I think there's more criticisms of ROH on this forum than you might think (and that's not a bad thing at all). Yeah, I me...

Re: COLE, STRONG, MOOSE, HATHAWAY LIKELY TO LEAVE ROH
I don't twist anything, I provide observations that happen to annoy those who are in a bubble and can't be reasonable enough to understand that folks may have higher standards than you. Oh, ROH is doing great metrics. Well woopty fucking do for a consumer. So did Avatar. What aesthetic legacy of an...

Re: COLE, STRONG, MOOSE, HATHAWAY LIKELY TO LEAVE ROH
Guys, Delirious sucks. We all know this. Sinclair sucks. We all know this. The old ROH is never coming back, accept it and move on. Evolve, NXT, New Japan, Progress, Rev Pro, etc are all superior products. Move to them. Seriously, what in ROH right now is must see? Absolutely nothing. I enjoy Letha...

Re: Official Conquest Tour 2016 Thread
I hope this Dijak thing results in an unsuccessful title defense on a house show and then is dropped. I think it's great to do this type of thing to build up title matches and defenses more. That being said it can't go further than that in this case. Dijak is nowhere near ready even for the TV titl...

Re: Random ROH Thoughts Thread
No, I was mocking Rhett's catchphrase and at the same time compared him to something that had nothing to do with thighs. (though you don't mesmerize people with thighs anyway). And I would like him WWE bound since that would open up a spot to anyone. Even Dennis Stamp. I know he's not booked, but h...

So Michael Elgin is wrestling Jason Kincaid in NWA Smoky Mountain on May 7th. This means that Elgin will be very busy in early May, as he's working AAW the day before, and then the first two shows on the ROH/NJPW May Tour on that Sunday & Monday. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CghWr6QXEAASPXt.jpg ...

Tozawa's the only name that I find surprising thus far. Always figured Sabre Jr. was a virtual lock. Probably guys like Ibushi and Scurll as well.

Re: ROH on SBG Discussion Thread
Huh, that sure was a terrible episode of ROH this past week. The crowd was not buying a minute of the seven-team gauntlet, but who would be excited for a program that was almost being presented as something non-canonical? I hope they learn to avoid hosting filler content in the future. I hope they ...

Re: The PWG Thread
So in some pretty sad news, it seems like "Speedball" Mike Bailey got in trouble at the border (hence why he wasn't at Evolve this weekend). Apparently the rumors going around on Twitter is that he's been barred from entering the U.S. for five years which, if true, means no more Mike Bail...

Re: Bobby Roode in ROH
I see him far more likely in NXT to help replace Balor, Joe, and Zayn this year. Possibly debuting in Dallas. He is 39 years old though. Storm and Aries were about the same age as well, and Roode at least has the advantage over Aries of being a decent sized guy. Likely has little bearing on their r...
