Re: Supercard of Honor XII - New Orleans, LA (WM34 Weekend Info)
Supercard of Honor tickets sold: 4,621 https://twitter.com/Laviemarg/status/966316742451650560 Capacity between 5,576 and 5,787. Last we heard they were set up for 5,162, so it sounds like they've already opened up more seats once. Hopefully they add even more, because with six weeks to go they're ...

Re: SBG close to buying all Tribune TV stations
The FCC's Patel is now being investigated, related to potential Sinclair favoritism. This will delay the deal, and even if it closes, it can be contested. We'll get Sinclair's take at the investor call later in the month. http://www.broadcastingcable.com/news/washington/fcc-ig-agreed-investigate-pai...

Re: Supercard of Honor XIII - New York, NY (WM35 Weekend Info on Post 2)
Hey guys, I speculated a bit here http://rohworld.com/location-location-roh-wrestlemania-35-weekend/ and am pasting below as well: With news of Ring of Honor breaking their all-time attendance record for the forthcoming April show in New Orleans over WrestleMania 34 weekend (Supercard of Honor), it’...

Re: Ring of Honor Events Schedule Thread
The next big question is, where will Final Battle be held? With the likes of Omega and Rhodes to lead promotion for the event among possibly others like The Bucks, maybe ROH will throw caution against the wind and book a 10,000 seater arena. If Omega's coming in, it would be a better time than ever...

Re: Ring of Honor Events Schedule Thread
Have not heard anything about Final Battle since reading months ago that it was expected back at the Hammerstein. I would imagine venue schedule and pay per view dates lining up, that is where it will be.
The Hammerstein has no events on sale for December currently.

Re: Global Wars 2017 Thread
Surprised at the ticket sales, that said, I've seen a number of people on Reddit say their going not just because of the opportunity to see Omega but also because it's a lot easier for them to get to the Odeum than it was Chicago Ridge so I think the change in arena is being devalued a bit here. I ...

Re: Global Wars 2017 Thread
That is great food for thought Wilson. Never considered the scalper market. I wonder how adept "they" are at following niche trends- like 'hot' secondary wrestling opps. as opposed to summer concerts or major sports.

Re: SBG close to buying all Tribune TV stations
I don't understand why Sinclair didn't cool it with the Boris' segments and such. If you are going to be biased, don't rub it in people's faces before the FCC approves your merger.

I apologize for the super late reply (I just joined the Board) but I appreciate your feedback on the article. Things have gotten even more interesting with the FCC, public backlash and media attention. Let's see what happens...

Re: Global Wars 2017 Thread
It would be a real shame if logistics of original set up don't allow them to expand the seating capacity. Otherwise, it is a runner up for the missed opportunity of the year to draw a big gate of the year (following NJPW's Long Beach shows).

Re: Global Wars 2017 Thread
it is a 2,500 building or im wrong? It can seat up to 5,500 officially according to the website (ECW pay per view had 6,000 officially years ago. That may have been hyped up numbers or logistical/fire code changes that has changed capacity). Styles vs. Joe did about 450 in the building for TNA year...
