Re: Don Kernodle Died
After reading that he and Sgt. Slaughter booked their program with Steamboat & Youngblood, I watched the entire storyline on YouTube. As much as Sarge was the alpha male, Kernodle made an excellent lackey and was a great worker. RIP sir.

Re: Random ROH Thoughts Thread
I really like them putting DanHausen and PCO together. Gives them both purpose; certainly let's them be entertaining together, in their unique ways. I like that DanHausen is kind of like an evil puppet master, with the wild PCO. I'm interested to see where they can go with it. Well, he'd be a very ...

Re: AEW Discussion
I can overlook Jericho's soft landing -- he was still a 50-year-old man taking a 20-foot fall. And the match was great up until that point. But here are my two issues. One -- they should've let this build up over time, at least until they were able to run in full arenas again. Two -- JR and Tony say...

Re: AEW Discussion
As far as Impact.... i can't blame them for wanting association with AEW< and wanting Omega on the show; but have some self respect. DONT put the belt on Omega... DONT treat yourself, impact as inferior. I don't see how AEW trying to bury Impact is OK. I find this frustrating. I want some parity be...

Re: AEW Discussion
Maki Itoh sucks. MJF does not need a stable of garbage attached to him. FTR are the most overhyped tag team on the planet today, just because Jim Cornette used to like them. Boring, vanilla, not that good and never were. Spears is hot garbage and Wardlow never actually does anything. Tully needs to...

Re: Who/What has done the most damage to ROH?
While there are many variables listed, I think those culminated at the G1 Supercard. Remember, when tickets went on sale and quickly sold out, the Elite were still on the roster; losing them might have taken a lot of excitement and expectations from the fans. Bully's creative contributions didn't he...

Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if NXT, the company's best show IMO, gets relegated to the Network/Peacock so USA can air hockey in its place.

Ditto on the Von Erichs. A program with the Briscoes seems like a natural.

Re: How big a wrestling fan are you? What do you watch?
I'd put myself in the "huge" category. If it's on my cable package -- Raw, Smackdown, NXT, AEW, Impact, ROH -- I'm watching it. That said, I rarely order PPVs or watch streams; I do have other interests, and my life can't revolve around just one thing. Beyond viewing habits, I go to FSW a...

I met Hodge at the Cauliflower Alley Club in 2010. Even at his age, he was gleefully demonstrating holds on younger guys. RIP sir.

Re: Final Battle 2020 Official Thread
In terms of DanHausen....While he completely doesn't fit the ROH sports based presentation... He appeals to that MEME culture / Indy Darling. I like that it's unique... and ROH could probably do some decent storylines with it. Part of the problem is the little fanbase that ROH has; and their need t...

Re: RIP James Harris (Kamala/Uganda)
Actually, he did make an appearance in ROH. While the exact details escape me, he was about to have a "match" with Bobby Dempsey, who revealed his own Kamala body paint under his warm-up suit.
Anyway, he took a goofy gimmick and got a long, good career out of it. RIP sir.

Re: ALL-PURPOSE COVID-19 SITUATION THREAD
There's a fair amount of debate in the Cauliflower Alley Club regarding the annual Reunion taking place in Las Vegas. It was already pushed from April-May to September, and President Brian Blair is sticking with the plan. But with so many regular attendees being in their later years, they're more su...
