Re: I think it's time for Delirious to step down as booker

Cedric Alexander is a mid card tag team wrestler . In the 80's he would have been placed in a tag team and given a manager to handle the mic work. Today everyone thinks they deserve to top guy , so they struggle to accept their natural role. Alexander is a serviceable talent , but easily replaced t...

One of the better cards of late, and gets away from all the bullshit that has been hampering PWG as of late.

Re: Random ROH Thoughts Thread

I don't understand why people are clamoring to bring in the Keith Lee/Shane Taylor tag team. Or, more specifically, I don't get why people want to bring in Keith Lee. I like Taylor, but Lee is dull at best. I don't know if people are clamoring but they are certainly two guys who have produced good ...

Re: Random ROH Thoughts Thread

Indy and Collinsville are up in the PPV section of ROHWrestling.com. No Columbus yet. Collinsville is a rather good show, I would say it's certainly a level above the House Shows in San Antonio and West Warwick (although with West Warwick it's not really that hard) and depending on how you felt abo...

Re: 2006 Homicide vs. 2016 Kyle O'Reilly

I can't remember the card or the area but O'Reilly got a draw with Lethal for the TV title and the crowd really wanted the extra five minutes as they felt O'Reilly had been so close. Personally I think O'Reilly can but he needs build not just a random title match out of nowhere.

Re: 2015 Live Attendance

I think considering the current roster that has been available as well the late card announcements ROH is doing fine with regards to crowds from my opinion anyway. I think they could do a lot better generally, but I think that will only happen if they drop the price of tickets and/or have an overall...

Re: Random ROH Thoughts Thread

Opinions on ROH using local rings on some house shows (Milwaukee, Hopkins, used to in San Antonio)? Looks kind of bush league for a company trying to be number two in the U.S. A ring is part of a show's overall presentation, dumb to use a ring you don't use for TV on what isessentially an "As ...

Re: ALL PURPOSE CONTRACT STATUS/POTENTIAL DEPARTURES THREAD

Observer: TNA is offering higher numbers for most at his level, if they want them, than WWE. WWE is obviously the goal of most wrestlers. Honestly what on earth is TNA doing offering more than the WWE and I assume ROH. That is just ridiculous and just highlights why things are going wrong their, a ...

Re: Should ROH piggyback off of UFC 200?

If they weren't piggybacking off of the ,202 then I would say yeah, doing both I think would too much especially for a market that is still relatively new and building, plus I think other areas deserve a show maybe another Chicago would be better at this time. Either way tying in either of 200 or 20...

Depends how long he will stay for really, if he is hear for a full year then yeah put the time in, but if he is simply here to get minutes and exposure for a few months their is no point in investing a real feud with him.

Re: Random ROH Thoughts Thread

He also tweeted he was going to Florida for a couple of days yesterday, so unless this is one big work he looks to be off, thankfully ROH never put in a position or gave him a title. I still think his flaws will be seen in the WWE and the schedule might well be too much but it will be interesting to...

Re: Official Road To "Best In The World '16" Thread

Jay Briscoe losing perhaps his last singles match en route to the PPV is a very strange thing to intentionally book. If they were to do a worked injury, surely it would be after a weekend of successful matches. Yikes, if this is a work. Though, overall, the results of the weekend seem pretty positi...

Re: Official Road To "Best In The World '16" Thread

They are progressing with Lee and Taylor which is good, hopefully they have a successful build and match with War Machine. If they can cement themselves early everything will be much better for them. Interesting that Roddy won like Moose also scoring a win in the tour it leads everyone to question w...

Agree about Coleman it looks like something new and fresh for him and as a bit part player in the lower it coul...

Re: Random ROH Thoughts Thread

If Tanahashi was in anyway at his best it would be great to have both him and Elgin back, but even in tag matches you can see he is hurting. Personally if I was New Japan and Tanahashi himself I would just take about six months off, New Japan isn't going to die in six months and it may actually get ...

Re: Official Road To "Best In The World '16" Thread

The thing is I doubt ROH wants to add more time their production costs or time by heavily editing their TV promo's.What ROH should do if they are not is encourage more of the guys to promo's in their outside lives like this. It just helps everyone.

Re: ALL PURPOSE NEW TALENT/SPECIAL ATTRACTION THREAD

What would be the advantage in partnering with any one particular UK promotion over another? It's not like any of them have any exclusive access to talent or contracts or anything. Seems like it would be a limiting move without any real benefit for ROH. Personally I don't think there is, but ROH mi...
