This is already starting to sound like the old forum. Well, it's not THAT bad yet.

I'm okay with him missing shows. Just look at UFC; does every champion defend on PPV? No! Are all the chanpions even on every PPV, let alone house shows? Of course not! A champion doesn't need to defend his title every 2 weeks, IMO.

I can see how the formula can work, but when I think of ROH, I think of hard hitting action, but I just think other squash matches took away from the style. I understand you can't give the best on tv, but I'd rather see a slower paced Elgin/Corino match then a Alex Payne/Elgin match.

I was really happy until near the end where it became "Squash, squash, Pump for iPPV, real match." I just felt that almost every match towars the end was a squash. Of course you'd have gems like Davey/Tyler and the Steen/Corino vs. Cabana/Generico street fight, but still it just seemed hea...

Just went back to Buffalo Stampede II. Nontitle. If memory serves right, Corino hasn't had a title shot in hos most recent run.

What do you think could happen with Corino? What do you think the outcome of Final Battle will be? I think Steen wins and tries to convince Corino to turn evil again but he keeps fighting the urge of evil until he can't take it and leaves ROH to cleanse his mind for a little and returns towards the ...

I see what you mean but I'm saying Steen is a psychopath, so why would he join up with some smart ass fray boy? If Cabana could portray a crazy heel, it could come out beautiful.

Really? I personally hate Whitmer(but fairly,as a heel, that's his job) and I don't think Cabana would be good with Steen. Cabana and Steen's personality just don't match in my eyes.

I don't think his departure desolated ROH, but I miss seeing him on the shows. I like his style, but I think he didn't impact ROH too much recently.

Is it just me or does his departure remind anyone else of Sonjay, Eddie Kingston, DCFC, and Necro Butcher's quiet departure.

Honestly, I would love to see an Elgin/Nigel match, but given Nigel's history of injuries, it would be suicide for him to get in the ring with Elgin. That man is a powerhouse, and frankly, I think he'd break Nigel.

I would also like to see Prince Devitt. Would be fantastic for him to be brought in for Anniversary vs. Davey.

I'm pumped for Eddie/Davey III and Steen/Corino. I'm not looking forward to WGTT/Briscoes too much, I'd much rather see WGTT/ANX and have ANX pick up the win, imo. I also want to see Elgin/TJP.
