Re: A Different Point Of View On The Young Bucks
I only read the first few posts of this thread but "mic skills" is becoming my most hated wrestling term. What about no selling? People want realism, you think if someone punches one these Bucks that they'd get up in real life? Yes, people get punched in the face all the time and are perf...

Re: The Worst ROH Match of the Year - NOMINATIONS
Young Bucks and ACH v Christopher Daniels, Kazarian and Coleman, 6 man tag, - Final Battle. I would say in terms of disappointment level it is a nomination for me as the WORST match of 2014. I nominate it due to no selling, from a certain team, who I am not allowed to talk about except in one thread...

Re: The Art Of Making A Good Match, What It Takes
I love how everyone shits on this dude for liking Elgin and saying he puts on good matches, when like 6 months ago every single person on this forum other than me and maybe 2-3 others were saying the exact same thing. Oh, the hypocrisy. Total hypocrisy and they all get so butt hurt when they are ca...

War Machine, for me by far the best team. Red Dragon are fun and deserved long reigning champs but War Machine have more tools in terms of wrestling tools.
The other teams for me aren't in contention

Might been before I joined tho or on days I was busy. I don't think my vote will change the winner.Robareid wrote:Well nominations were open for quite a while.
It depends on what people define as a good worker.

Re: ROHWorld Awards Voting - Worker of the Year Round I
None of the nominations were the best in ring worker, Daniels is the closest so i voted Daniels.
Michael Elgin, Adam Cole should have been on this list. I thought Lethal did well also.

Some of you guys need to ask yourself, do you want to watch guys doing gymnastics, or are you actually here to watch and talk about wrestling.monster mafia wrote:boring

Re: You're the booker in ROH 2015
I'd work on establishing the HOT as a top force in ROH. Add one or two more members, either singles guys or a tag team. Donovan Dijak would work well as a heater for the other guys with his size and athleticism. Don't know if I see any of the other "prospects" working as part of the HOT s...

The Art Of Making A Good Match, What It Takes
In my opinion, the art of good matches and making a good match has been lost. I know this by seeing the star ratings some people have given out and then seeing the match myself, and the difference is I think those matches usually are bad or awful. Not every match I like, is what most people like but...

This company has become just a vanity project for Mutoh. Hold title tournament without Mutoh Kono wins Kono loses belt to Mutoh in first defense ??? Profit? Set Sanada up to be the next ace send him to TNA for seasoning Allow TNA to do a Mutah rip off gimmick Bring him back with little to no fanfai...

Re: ROHWorld Awards Voting - Breakout Star of the Year Round
Tommaso Ciampa - Ciampa went from ending 2013 by winning the TV championship, to being a surefire World title challenger throughout the year, challenging both Adam Cole in June, Elgin in August and Briscoe in November. His latest descent into madness character arch has him heading into 2015 right a...

Re: A Different Point Of View On The Young Bucks
Why do we have to define what our tastes are by your standards? Your allowed to have your opinion which I don't agree with but this is ridiculous. You're not just arguing your point your trying to push your opinion onto us if it's fact. You like story telling and selling, fine. I like them too but ...

Re: Elgin leaving?
Refuting a claim that Elgin could draw a larger crowd than ANY ROH show in history has drawn with specific numbers from the Observer from his recent appearances on the indies is hardly shilling for Meltzer. I'm not even claiming the breakdown part was correct, only that there is evidence that Elgin...

Re: Elgin leaving?
Elgin could draw 3,000 or 4,000 fans, some the other smaller guys will draw what 100 or 200 people? I think this may be a typo...you have overstated Elgin's personal drawing power by a couple decimal places. See the Wrestling Observer from Oct 20th: Michael Elgin, who worked indies around his home ...
