Re: Supercard Of Honor 2022 - April 1st - Discussion
I have a feeling not, only because TK doesn't want to piggyback off WWE. It was too late to change this year's for him.

Re: Supercard Of Honor 2022 - April 1st - Discussion
I don't know if they're my favorite, but I think they're the best hands down right now. They really shined during the empty arena shows -- making matches feel so much bigger than they were even with no fans.

Re: Tony Kahn booking ROH
He made a weird comment about this in the post-Supercard press conference - and described his role in ROH as wanting to be more like a ‘coach’ and less of a booker - and didn’t really expand much upon what that meant. (It was a slightly confusing comment, and as enthusiastic as TK is - some of his ...

Still missing the point and it's smacking you in the face, Mark. AEW has a working relationship with NJPW. So if Suzuki is signed to NJPW, then he is a signed guy in that umbrella. All the other guys... are not under that umbrella. Again, not complicated, but your small brain is making it so.

Re: Supercard Of Honor 2022 - April 1st - Discussion
I keep reading articles or social media posts about how Tony had to get the titles off the ROH talent because they weren't signed. Explain Suzuki... Btw, for everyone looking forward to ROH "future"....say goodbye to all ROH guys who lost last night. That was their last night. What a good...

As a fan of his, I will freely admit that there is a LOT of context to him and he is NOT for everyone.

Re: Random ROH Thoughts Thread
The Dark losing money is just an assumption. I just can't see a scenario where Dark makes money. You do not get much money from YouTube for something like that. How much does it lose? No idea, but there's no way it makes money.

Re: The WWE Thread
Did not watch, but was told it was a SOLID show. Good for Cody if he's happy and I did see his match -- true banger. But his comments in all the interviews are just ridiculous.

Re: Random ROH Thoughts Thread
ROH needs to be “on-demand” like the Darks, but they need to put better content on it and put forth more effort. Brian Cage vs Samoa Joe needs to happen more often than Samoa Joe vs Serpentico I agree. I think more effort needs to be put into Dark PERIOD, but ROH on YouTube or something weekly with...

Re: Supercard Of Honor 2022 - April 1st - Discussion
Yeah, was expecting some mixed reactions to the show. To be honest, this show would have been better than anything Sinclair would have put together, given they released everyone from their contracts, and only a handful of names were announced for the show. ROH was slowly dying, and this should at l...

Re: AEW Discussion
I kind of agree with the "what does a set matter," but production did mean a lot for WWE in rating wise. They were nosediving before going to the Thunderdome. SmackDown also started going downhill ratings wise when they got rid of the Fist and made it feel like just another RAW. But I also...

Re: Tony Kahn booking ROH
I think the first few shows would be good, but long-term will be rough just because of time constraints.

Re: AEW Discussion
Oh I'm down for that too. Yeah, not every debut or guest needs to be promoted. Just something to give the show an air of unpredictability.

Re: SBG SELLS ROH TO TONY KHAN
Well, let me counter with the fact that Ian Riccaboni and others behind the scenes have been very vocal about how Jay Briscoe has done charity work with LGBTQIA organizations. Even before this whole fluff-up with who's signing who. I don't want to lump Hogan and Kendrick and Jay all into the same um...

Re: AEW Discussion
I can see that sentiment, but I think even with that feeling of making each episode unique, you have to admit that TK has debuted a LOT of wrestlers super quick and he's kind of burnt out the "special announcement" angle/hype. Britt-Thunder delivered. That hand slap into the thumbtacks was...

Re: SBG SELLS ROH TO TONY KHAN
The idea that the Young Bucks would be afraid to bring in Briscoes because they're are more dynamic and will get over too fast and too much is so fucking laughable. This is the same team that famously lost "too much" in 2019 and early 2020.

Re: SBG SELLS ROH TO TONY KHAN
Imagine calling someone dumb while trying to make people believe your 6 year old's teacher taught them about anal sex in the classroom. Also, I love people who say "read your first sentence and I stopped at that" when they spend their time posting on a board arguing with people. Yeah, this...
